just back from Riley's
won my snooker match 3-2
they should make me World Champ
----------------------------------------------------------------------
any decent breaks?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
red/black/red/pink = 15
plus I cleared up from the brown = 22
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clearance from the brown is impressive. I bet none of them were on their spots
----------------------------------------------------------------------
oh no the pink & black where close to the middle pocket. I stunned in the brown which was close to the baulk pocket and the blue was over the other middle pocket
2 stun shots and 2 plain ball shots
Wilson's opponents to get to the final:
Dominic Dale
Joe O'Connor
John top break of 60 Higgins
Dave Gilbert

You can blame Luca, Selby, and Allen for that.........
Shrek in big trouble now
15-11
Peks what's your highest break? Mine's 30 in a match which was like 10 years ago. I did a line up by myself a few weeks ago for a few hours and made a 37 break. I'm unsure if I can class that as my highest break or not as it was in practise.
60 odd break from Jones and he leads 15-11.
I used to play snooker a fair bit in my teenage and early 20s. I had a 49 break once and was desperate to make 50...............and then I made a 60!!! The worse thing was, there were 3 open reds and a missed such a simple red, just because I was feeling so much pressure.
I only play pool these days, find snooker too difficult and don't have the time to play regularly to be in any sort of touch.
And I guess technically I still not made a 50

45...that was around 12/13 years ago when i was playing twice a week rather than once
that improved my play alot
with age my hand eye coordination has deteriorated though...so even if i started playing twice a week again i doubt i'd get to that standard

It's like Peks says, that's when I was playing 2 or 3 times a week, so had a wee bit of feel. It's amazing if you just stop playing for a few weeks, it takes me ages to get back to how I was before.
I was generally happy to say make a 20 break each frame, but I really struggled with power shots and deep screw shots - I had a real jabby cue action.
I now just play pool once a week. I remember when I initially started playing less snooker and more pool - pool just seemed so much easier and ultimately enjoyable
You would think they would have a screen which they could turn round so the ref can see it also................

in a few years it will all be ai, including the ref
I know in China they have the technology which maps the white ball for misses, although not sure if they can do it for all balls

And it'll still have it in for Ronnie.............
This could be a long frame.
This frame alone will take us to 10pm
If Jones gets to the final, these will be the players the finalists have beaten:
Dominic Dale (40)
Joe O'Connor (30)
John Higgins (13)
Dave Gilbert (31)
Anda (11)
Si (23)
Trump (2)
Bingham (29)
Lol the reason why I said that Jak had an easy draw was to wind up Arsenal as he beat Judd…
Bingham wins the frame and trails 15-12 at the mid session interval.
Steve's starting to look old.
And if Wilson wins, he'll have beaten:
Dominic Dale (40)
Joe O'Connor (30)
John Higgins (13)
Dave Gilbert (31)
Jack Jones (44) / Stuart Bingham (29)
I'd guess that would be the easiest ever title in terms of opponents' rankings?
