Correct in that he hasn’t won any trophies to date, however even if he doesn’t win a trophy in his career he will be remember for setting many onfield scoring achievements.
No other player has embodied the archetypal goalscorer in the Premier League in recent years more than Harry Kane. The 30-year-old has notched 213 goals in 320 appearances in England’s top flight – second only to Alan Shearer (260 in 441 games) since the competition was founded in 1992.
Kane has been the top goalscorer in the Premier League in three season (2015/16, 2016/17 and 2020/21) – only Thierry Henry has claimed the Golden Boot more times (four). His best seasons in terms of goals were actually 2017/18 and the previous campaign, though, with 30 goals each. No other player has hit the 30-goal mark in two separate Premier League seasons of 38 matches.
The England captain holds the record for the most away goals in the Premier League (112) and is also the only player in the league’s history who has a three-digit figure of goals both at home and on the road. That coolness has brought about more than a few goals. Kane had his most prolific year in 2017, when he found the net 39 times in the calendar year, setting a new record in England’s top flight.
Aside from Andy Cole (1993/94), Kane is the only player who’s been both the top goalscorer and top provider in a Premier League campaign. The new FCB striker achieved it in the 2020/21 season with 23 goals and 14 assists.
Kane is Tottenham’s all-time highest goalscorer with 280 competitive goals. Since 2014/15, he’s been the Lilywhites’ top marksman in all competitions in every season. What’s more, no other striker in the history of the Premier League has scored so many goals for one and the same club as Kane (213).
With 58 goals in 84 international appearances, Kane is also the England national team’s record goalscorer. Twelve of those have come at World Cups and European Championships – another best among English players. He had his best year in the Three Lions jersey in 2021, when he was on target no fewer than 16 times for his country. Of course, another record!
Kane has scored at least once against all of the 32 teams he’s faced in the Premier League. No other player has done that in England.
Kane scored his 31st league goal of the season, setting a new record for a player in a debut Bundesliga campaign, beating the previous record of 30 set by Uwe Seeler in 1963/64. He is currently on 32 .goals for Bayern and on course to beat Lewandowski’s record of 41 goals in a season. He is currently on 39 goals in all competitions.
A man for special games
Kane holds the records for the most goals in London derbies (56), on the final day of the Premier League (11) and in the traditional Boxing Day fixture (10).
I think that he will be remembered for his goalscoring feats rather than any trophies won. Many players have won one, two or more trophies and yet most people would struggle to recall their names as readily as those who will remember one of the greatest goalscorers ever to grace the English and European game.

Of course he’ll be remembered.
Most clubs have a statue of a legend outside their stadium lifting a trophy. Spurs will have a statue of Kane outside their stadium, lining up to kick a ball placed on top of a small circle.
Is it not true though, that some of the best players shine even in a bang average team? Shearer? Le Tiss? (although he's gone all David Icke now).
Kane yesterday, his penalty was ice cool, but what I noticed was his passing, some of his midfield play was better than the actual midfielders.
Trophy's are won by great teams, not always by great players.
