Couldn't agree more. Very lethargic in the 1st half. no sense of urgency until the last 20 mins.
We can't afford to drop 2 points at this stage. Looking more like playoffs as each game passes.
I think tonight illustrated why many Norwich fans grew frustrated with DF's very stubborn pig headed approach and I never thought I'd feel this way but DF has really peeed me off tonight in the same manner as Marsch did.
Ultimately the blame lies with Farke whose Bamford blind spot has dragged us down.
Bamford played really well, first half, but should have been replaced around 60 mins.
willy and Piroe, should have been on at same time.
I know everyone loves Gruev, but cant pass it further than 10 yards.
Rutter gets right on my T@ts, release the bloody ball, ya greedy facker.
just so poor by Farke

Gnonto should have started, Dan James looks absolutely spent.
Excatly Dennis, nowhere near fit
Sorry LIW but I did not think PB played well in the first half, he was average at best like most of his team-mates tbf and I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt over retaining his starting place but he gave us nothing up front and never looked capable of creating or scoring but agree over Rutter and he's a very frustrating fancy dan at times and I think the EPL defences would nullify him quite easily... sadly.

At what point are Summerville and Rutter playing as though they are on the same team as Bamford? He's slated by everyone but gets next to no service.
Might look different on telly, but first half, he constantly held the ball and laid it off to rutter and sommerville.

You've said this before, but what about the other way round were they looking to create opportunities for him?
The problem PB has is he doesn't have the pace or physicality to threaten enough and race away from the opposition back line and so constantly tries to get a slight headstart but just gets caught offside.
To me Joseph even though he's still a young lad and has a lot to learn is physically more threatening and a better
target man for Summerville James and Rutter to pick out.
Rutter doesnt pass to anyone 🤷🏻♂️
And sommerville likes to cut in so I suppose he doesnt create much for Bamford
Playoffs it is for us. 100%.
Farke is not the man to lead us into the PL if we even make it there. Shocking shocking result.
I'm no Bamford fan and dont fall for this he works hard stuff but tonight in the 1st half he actually did what people keep talking about but the problem is hes our centre forward and we need him to make and score goals and that ain't happening, also why do we insist on passing to Rodon, great defender but cant play,

There are a lot of tired players out there, DRITK, and this is where a good coach looks at the squad overall and spreads the load. Farke's biggest failing is that he does not trust enough of the squad enough of the time. We had a lot of decent players available to make a difference tonight, but he chose not to use them. If you want some light relief, head over to the Leicester board. They are not exactly in love with Maresca either. McKenna, the ball is in your court!
It's almost like the nearer the finishing line teams are tripping over themselves and in all honesty whoever goes up will very likely come straight back down in a similar fashion to Burnley and Shef Utd particularly.
I think despite our unbeaten run this year most of those
games we have not been that impressive apart from our defencive record which Amps and Rodon have been the
decisive factor and I wonder if Struiyk hadn't got injured
whether that unbeaten run would have lasted as long.
The highs of the Leicester home win papered over a lot
of cracks and I can't remember the last game the whole
side or 3 quarters of the whole side played to their best
level and you thought wow we're some team. Swansea
away 4 nil possibly which, you know who didn't play in...mmmm.
Also last season we were so starved of wins and were very much disillusioned with football again that DF tbf has lifted a lot of doom and gloom this season and 26 victories is amazing but but but it still feels like the team is wearing divers boots or one of those nightmares when you can't escape or break free because you're being
held back, is what this season at the vital moment is turning into and I think we all sense Leeds is almost fated to fail.
Anyway if Ipswich lose tomorrow night to a Watford side playing a lot better than the Sunderland team we faced tonight I will then change my view that perhaps the footballing Gods just enjoy torturing us... the spiteful barstewards!!!!
Farke needs to use his squad more, the performances have been laboured the last 3 games, there are a lot of tired legs and minds out there. Poor decision not to change it today.
We need to get Piroe in the team the last 4 games somehow. We need players who can take chances and he’s our best finisher, complete waste when we need a goal to leave him on the bench for 80 minutes when we weren’t doing anything. I’d like to see more of Joseph too, reminds me of the spark and lift to the stadium that Joffy used to bring.
You can really see why we wanted that Amari, when teams sit back like that it’s tough to break them down
Couldn't watch tonight. Listened to the commentary.
Based on what they saw, they felt Bamford was okay
first half. However, that was an okay in a team that
looks spent, knackered, and lost.
Commentary team I listened to thought Rutter was dire.
According to them the only one who came out of this
not looking totally off was Firpo.
So, we now maximum points for us is 99. Doubt we
get that tally. I think we're in trouble. Can't see us
getting one of the auto spots. Play offs for us I reckon.
Not holding my breath that Farke can pull the team
out of this nose dive. Shame because it only gets
harder next season if we can't get promoted this.
Watched it on record after work. Felt like a defeat, a point feels pointless tbh. A point at home in our softest game on paper is really poor and probably what we deserved over the 90 mins. First half, both sides were very sloppy, we didn't do sod all with the ball whereas they did look a bit threatening. Second half was the reverse, they did nothing and just wanted to defend a point. Should have 2 pens so we would have won that had the officials spotted them. Poor from Farke again leaving Bamford on for that long, would have hooked him immediately after leaving that cross to go beyond him.
6 weeks ago I had us nailed on, we kept getting away with it week in week out, digging out wins wherever we went, now we are starting to look worried about fecking it up and are looking like a classic throwaway Leeds side.
Blackburn is a 6 pointer, its win or Wigan imo.

Watched the game on record too. Love Farke and
what he's done this season. But, if this squad's as
good as it's cracked up to be, why the fck does DF
insist on using the same XI every game and then
leave subs so late? Starting XI looks knackered.
Gnonto and Joseph are our game changers. You
could add Anthony too. None are being used enough.
One positive: the myth of us only looking good with
Bamford up front is busted. We've looked ordinary
four games on the trot now while he starts. Whatever
he used to be, he is no more. If Farke decides to
keep pushing Bamford on us, fine. At your peril fella.
Some very ordinary uninspired performances all round
tonight. Not just Bamford. It feels inevitable now that
we'll be waiting on the play offs to start.
And Bamford needs to be benched.
Joseph has to start. Gnonto and Piroe also.
Bamford, James, Rutter to the bench.
One of the problems with not bringing on players until the last few minutes is that Farke is loading the pressure onto them every time they come on. You could see how desperate Willy was to get us going tonight but he only had a few minutes to do it in. This has been a critical failing throughout the season. The subs now look like strangers to the team when they come on and their only purpose is to add to the artillery.
Let's give Joseph, Piroe, Gnonto and Anthony a proper run-out against Blackburn and see what they can do. We can always go back to what is tried and trusted, even if it means waiting 70 minutes to do it.
