What about the Medoc Marathon - 26 wine stations along the route 🍷 🇫🇷
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That would suit me, as I'd only manage about three miles anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, Id like that too, if you could take a month or so to complete it 🍷

I'm assuming the 'stations' are evenly spaced throughout the entirety of the route! My mileage wouldn't be limited by stamina, but by the ability to walk in a straight line.

Sounds perfect Peeder but I'd imagine the chance of View having an Airpod by Saturday are considerably higher than him having an invisible hearing aid.

However, as someone with a bit of a hearing impairment myself, I'd be interested to know what you got as I might need to go that way in the future

Been using aids for over 20 years now. Have moderate to severe loss in both ears, not bad enough to get me cochlear implant. I currently use Phonac top of the range with blue tooth and Roger transmitter which makes watching TV almost as good as when I had hearing. Bit expensive but you can’t take it with you and it enables me to have a full social life. I have found that Phonac give the best quality sound for my prescription. Don’t believe any of the hype the hearing aid manufacturers come out with in their sales blurb. Try a few out and see what is right for you.

Wow! Just wow.

This has to be the most optimistic post from Spart all season. ♥️

Yes, it will be the top of the range multi-purpose "aid".

Try it, you won't be disappointed..........

How many matches did you manage to attend home and away this season Vidal? Wish I had the opportunity to attend at least one home match.

In what ways does this promotion campaign differ with Arthur Cox's ?

Are we going to be able to look back in a couple of years and reminisce this ( should we get the points needed for promotion of course !) ?

I've got them too. Paid out quite a few £ but amazing bits of kit. Sit right in ear, almost invisible, sound quality top notch.

Yes read about this on the web. The Sun ran an article in which they mention every club he played for except Derby.

Re team for tomorrow I can't see PW moving from WBs and three at the back at this late stage.

If Elder was fully fit I guess I would prefer him at LWB but Sibs has done well enough there and I think it would be right to keep him there. Bird will not be fully match fit and I think the three of Smith, Thommo and Adams should be retained in midfield. Bird and Elder will be great possible substitutions.

Three at the back presumably means both NML and CBT cannot play so I guess it will be NML and Collo up front with CBT another great possible sub.

I'm assuming that Fozzie and Gayle are not yet ready even for sub duty.

Wildsmith will surely remain as number one.

Here's hoping for three points!

Desi

I've managed 35 games so far this season. I hope it will be 37 and no more than that.

I have strong memories of the promotion from the third division under Cox. I went to India for 3 months in early 1985. When I left we were looking good for promotion. I had very little means of keeping in touch with results. I would crouch over my little radio when I though that BBC World Service would be broadcasting results. It was torture. Reception was terrible and often I might hear something like "Derby County 1..." and the rest would dissolve into crackles. When I got back in April I discovered to my surprise that we had slipped out of the top two and were struggling to get promoted. I remember going from Bristol to Swansea on a Wednesday night where we had a great 3-0 win that set us back on track. Then there was the Rotherham match at home with the famous penalty that we were given, bafflingly before a free-kick was taken outside the area. It was popularly believed that Stuart Webb had bribed the ref. I recently saw highlights of this game on Youtube and for the first time I saw a Rotherham player in the wall kick out at one of ours at the instant the kick was taken. I actually think it was a good decision by the ref now, forty years later. If I close my eyes I can still see Trevor Christie's spot kick from my position on the Pop Side.
