Poor from ccv there
----------------------------------------------------------------------
CCV doesn’t trust Scales so is going for the same headers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sales was all over the place. Following the ball getting in the way
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine watching Scales when you have a bad hangover?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don’t need to imagine
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey!

Hearts have never beaten Rangers at Hampden, though did prevail over the Govan side in the 1998 Scottish Cup final at Celtic Park.

Rangers last won the Scottish Cup in 2022, beating Hearts in the final in extra time. It ended a 13-year wait to lift the trophy and marked the 34th triumph in the competition.

Kenneth Vargas has scored in all three of Hearts' previous rounds in this year's Scottish Cup, making him the club's top scorer in the competition (three goals).

James Tavernier has scored in both Rangers' visits to Hampden this season. The Ibrox captain's first came from the spot as his side saw off Hearts in the League Cup semi-final, before scoring the winner in the final against Aberdeen
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ross County has never beaten Rangers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
They has now.

Congratulations to Dundee Utd it seems. Ivan will be pleased if that’s the one he liked.

Same thing really, isn’t it.

Can’t believe that’s a banned word.

Come on, admin. In a day and age where we’re trying to teach body positivity and open and honest communication with our kids, a perfectly normal human function is somehow ‘taboo’?

I’m so angry, I’m away for a tug.

First time at Hampden in 4/5 years still a dump.

We got outa jail - comp for many where we dominated & lost there.

Short on skills but it was a real 70's classic Cup game.

A decade when teams came to Hampden v OF without fear.

Semi Finals are notoriously boring & cagey clug fests not this one.

Feel a bit for the sheep botherers some of them prob not home yet.

Cup's glamourous but a side show in the broader sense.

Scare like this may well be invaluable in the SPFL run-in.

Take him back...?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scotland have been dealt a potential further injury blow ahead of this summer's European Championships.

Southampton boss Russell Martin has revealed that Stuart Armstrong is likely to miss the rest of the Championship season - including the play-offs.

The Scotland international was stretchered off during Saints' 2-1 defeat at Cardiff, as their automatic promotion hopes took a sizeable dent.

The 32-year-old, former Celtic player, went down off the ball after he landed awkwardly on his foot.

With the visitors having already made all five of their allotted substitutes, they had to play the final minutes of the game with 10 men.

Martin said: “He will be out for the season I would have thought. It’s a bad one.

"We are keeping our fingers crossed that it’s not as bad as everyone fears.

“He is on crutches. It’s a really tough day for us all and I’m gutted for him. He played so well today as well. He will be a big miss.”

With Armstrong's participation in the remainder of the season now majorly in doubt, so too will his inclusion in Scotland's squad for Euro 2024 this June.

Steve Clarke has already been dealt a hammer blow at right-back, with Nathan Patterson ruled out of the competition. Fellow Premier League defender Aaron Hickey is also a doubt having not played since October.

Armstrong's contract at Southampton expires at the end of the season, meaning he could be without a club in the summer.

Missed our game “live”, but finally got a chance to skim through it late last night. Jeezo, some seriously poor game management there. Shot ourselves in the foot so many times we had to reload. Over the piece we probably deserved to edge it, but it was also yet another game that showed up our glaring deficiencies. We even lucked out in the pen shootout TBH … at least 4 of ours were pretty awful. Hart obviously hit the post, but Bernardo’s lacked power and should have been saved, whilst Idah’s and AJ’s would have been easy saves if Roos had guessed right. Take the win all day long, as cup semis are often tense, nervy affairs, but going forward we need to be far better than that.

Shout out to the Dons BTW for a very decent performance. Feck knows what they’ve been doing all season in the league, when they can turn up like that for one-offs.

Think you are being a bit unfair about the pens. Isn`t that part of taking a good pen, sending the goalie the wrong way? Thought both teams did well with them yesterday.

We were pretty p!sh though. Got to improve or we will likely drop points. Think Aberdeen have stabilised a bit under Leven, but after we went 2-1 up they seemed to lose faith, then got it back when they realised we weren`t putting them to the sword.

Scales is a fvckin bomb scare, and CCV didnt have a good game either. AJ not pressing Hoylett for the two goals. Our midfield were rotten too, never got into a rhythm, maybe down to good pressing by the Dons.

Yang is hopeless, he has no idea how to track back, defend or press/put a tackle in, he highlights Maeda being a huge loss for us.

I would've kept Forrest on and Taken Scales off for Rocki.

The oft maligned Forrest is a real threat and he still has pace and knows how to track back, and he isn't made of bone China.

Aberdeen's league position is mental, they have some really good players, and played very well as a unit.

We got out of jail yesterday, we try to be that bad again and we won't win the league.
