Forrest was injured. But the sub showed Rodgers not thinking there might be penalties, albeit we came through in the end.

Missed our game “live”, but finally got a chance to skim through it late last night. Jeezo, some seriously poor game management there. Shot ourselves in the foot so many times we had to reload. Over the piece we probably deserved to edge it, but it was also yet another game that showed up our glaring deficiencies. We even lucked out in the pen shootout TBH … at least 4 of ours were pretty awful. Hart obviously hit the post, but Bernardo’s lacked power and should have been saved, whilst Idah’s and AJ’s would have been easy saves if Roos had guessed right. Take the win all day long, as cup semis are often tense, nervy affairs, but going forward we need to be far better than that.
Shout out to the Dons BTW for a very decent performance. Feck knows what they’ve been doing all season in the league, when they can turn up like that for one-offs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think you are being a bit unfair about the pens. Isn`t that part of taking a good pen, sending the goalie the wrong way? Thought both teams did well with them yesterday.
We were pretty p!sh though. Got to improve or we will likely drop points. Think Aberdeen have stabilised a bit under Leven, but after we went 2-1 up they seemed to lose faith, then got it back when they realised we weren`t putting them to the sword.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, sending the keeper the wrong way is part of a good pen. Having watched ours back a few times though, not convinced that’s what happened with any of the 4 I’d mentioned. Looked like predetermined, poorly executed sclaffs which we got away with … or not, with Hart’s. Didn’t fancy us at all in a shootout, given our poor record with them (as evidenced by Hart bring one of our designated 5!) … but happy days with the result. My blood pressure was grateful I couldn’t watch it live.

First time at Hampden in 4/5 years still a dump.
We got outa jail - comp for many where we dominated & lost there.
Short on skills but it was a real 70's classic Cup game.
A decade when teams came to Hampden v OF without fear.
Semi Finals are notoriously boring & cagey clug fests not this one.
Feel a bit for the sheep botherers some of them prob not home yet.

I see from social media that Scales is once again getting pelters for his performance which I agree was pash but so was CCV how many times did he get caught out by miovski ?? I can't give pass marks to any hoops player yesterday we were rotten but still through to the final which at the end of the day is the target of any semi final .Yesterday does give me the fear about the run in though as we look decidedly vulnerable
Not reading anything from a one off cup match to determine how we’ll fare over the closing fixtures of a league campaign.
Two completely different scenarios and circumstances.
Not one single team bar Rangers we now have to play have any real significance. European places are all pretty much sorted now and no manager or player is going to go gung ho for what to them is fairly meaningless other than pride.

Excuse me? You do realise that your "victory" yesterday means that 5th place now gets Europe, meaning that Dundee and St Mirren are now battling it out for a European place? So that means the only two teams Celtic play with nothing to play for are the two mini Rangerses in Killie and Hearts. Who are obviously going to want to stop Celtic from winning the league.
Difficult to see where a Celtic victory will come from in the remaining fixtures with all of the teams they play being massively up for it, with all of the pressure being on Celtic.

Someone said to me that with you beating Aberdeen yesterday, means the cup winners/finalists are one of the top 3 sides in the league, which means there's an extra European spot for the team that finishes 5th, gives St Mirren and Dundee something to play for
Not sure how accurate that is

Yeah, we don't get a break.
Yesterday I was confident we would show up today and put in a performance after the two shambolic games we've just had, cup game, distraction from the league, different scenario altogether, hopefully a different mindset
Closer we get to kick off today, the more I'm worried we produce the exact same utter dross
