Apparently Forest are wanting to sue Gary Neville because he said the tweet was like a mafia threat. Was he a bit too near the truth in that comment. These mafia bosses are a bit thin skinned when it comes to accusations that their wealth is from anything other than honest hard work. Yes I thought about Miles Addison when I saw it was Stuart Attwell in charge of the VAR. No one will ever know why that goal was disallowed?
Forest weren't too bothered when the ref made a mistake when they were playing Huddersfield at Wembley. What goes round goes round.
Looking forward to playing them next season, come on Luton and Burnley.

I'll never know why Martin's goal was disallowed at Burnley, or why he was sent off. Attwell and Madley...sounds like a firm of undertakers.
That's a pretty sad post. Every supporter can say that the REF should/shouldn't have given a penalty...but its a fact that these decisions DO even themselves out over a season. If you're expecting to get a result by the REF giving you a decision in your favour you'll be waiting a long time.
I'm sure we've had penalties given in our favour this season ... but I can't remember when the last one was ???
Soooo funny ...

It was Forsyth’s goal. Martin fell over in the box, didn’t appeal for a foul but the ref blew for simulation and sent Martin off. We would have had a reasonable chance of automatic promotion were it not for that decision.

VC, I think you find it was Hendrick who put the ball away.
It was Hendrick, of course.
Martins studs slipped in the turf and his heels went from under him (he ended up on his ar5e literally), the ball broke to Hendrick who was running towards goal outside the area from the left side and he buried it.
Not quite how I remembered it, but still Hendrick

Why Martin got booked for even the first time, god only knows?
Yes the first booking was ludicrous. The second was an example of a ref wanting to be the star of the show. Trippier was and is a cheat though.
Looks like Peterborough are now well and truly out of the frame. Hoping they would win in order that they would still be trying against Bolton.
What's the chances of an absolutely nerve-shredding 0-0 against Carlisle on Saturday while Bolton win 8-0 against the Posh??

For years I have been convinced it was Forsyth. He looks in the right position. For the angle of the shot. Anyway that is academic. Fact is we were cheated in the playoff final against Leicester by Roger Minford, we were cheated in the Burnley game by Bobby Madley , we were cheated against Forest by Stuart Attwell and the club didn’t write one tweet about it. Difficult for the pre internet Leicester game I know. We were also prevented from winning promotion by a cheating QPR but never thought we should sue them. Forest, Middlesbrough and Wycombe all trying to ruin the game.
Fact is Spart, you're bang to rights.
You might think that the number of times that Spart has expressed his certainty about something which has subsequently been demonstrated to be false would have had some sort of impact on him. Yet his faith in himself remains unshakeable despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It's quite extraordinary.
