To me, Salah portrayed the image of a fighter not being allowed to fight, and in the meantime, other who were on the field to fight in his absence, just didn’t come up to scratch.
Frustration, pure and simple. Whatever JK said or didn’t say to him is gone. Mo let it be known, very publicly, he wasn’t happy with being on the bench.
End of.
Slots first job at LFC is the secure Mo’s position in the first team. Any suggestion of a replacement would be very costly indeed.
FSG are held in very high esteem in the financial world as they’re trading in the footballing field throughout Europe and beyond. Selling Mo would be a huge loss.

I haven’t read the comments so soz if it’s been said already. To me it’s a none story. A star player gets benched and sees his ass! Mane got benched vs Utd and fooked Klopp off when he went to shake his hand. Mo should look at himself though coz he’s been crap for weeks now. He’s shown more fight with that yesterday than he has for ages on the pitch

I think mo should go, I think it's the right time. I also believe that players like Nunez, Gakpo would benefit from mo leaving.

Huge overreaction Mambs, no matter how much you love Klopp.
Salah may have been out of order, but he's been such a huge part of what you've achieved too. He was annoyed at being dropped and confronted the manager when he definitely shouldn't have and made a scene. hey shoved a mic in his face. But it's a single instance in a years-long relationship that's worked wonders for the club.
At least give Mo a chance to sleep on it and see if he back-pedals and they iron it out. Calling for him to be sold just because he had a tiff with the manager and dropped an unfortunate soundbite is way ott.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough and good points, but this tiff isn't the only reason he should be sold. There's other reasons.
I'd also prefer Slot come into a dressing room without that ego. If he can do that to Klopp for dropping him then what will he do to Slot, when him being dropped is inevitable because of his atrocious form?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough.
agree about salah letting himself down and yes mane did similar before. but i disagree that salah is past it.
the behaviour is disgraceful. Klopp has always followed the old liverpool way : keep it all behind closed doors. If mo has issues, it should be said in the dressing room if not the gaffers office. not a display of preschool petulance. Embarrassing!!
as for his form, the same applies to the whole team. the mass of midseason injuries and the wonderful stopgap performances of the backups and youth players to keep on winning as they did, can be blamed for our current plight
the 1st teamers have recovered but lack form and match practice, the backups are Facked after their exertions. put them together and the team is disjointed. a real shame for klopps departure.
i reckon mo should stay and we should have his replacement brought in and up to speed before mo departs. im not bothered if free or extends by a year
id say he desrves to choose
To be honest I think it's something of nothing.
Two competitive men argue. Big deal! The 'fire' comment I took as meaning that whatever Salah said it would be taken out of context by the media so that's why he didn't say anything.
