It would be extremely cruel if Ipswich managed to fack it up now and we sneaked past them but until it's mathematically done and dusted you always have to be wary of the unexpected... but that would be the unexpected of all unexpected end of season scenarios if that came true but also a typical Leedsy way to do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They’ve lost 6 all season, twice to us, and that was the only home game they’ve lost…now we hope that an already relegated team can go there and get a win…beggar’s belief!

Yes I know... but that's what makes football so fascinating as just when you think nothing else would surprise you... something however unlikely does.
Barring a truly remarkable Ipswich defeat on Saturday I think Leeds have got to select their strongest 11 and get back to winning ways as psychologically it's important now to go into these play offs in a positive manner.

Do we go for it against Southampton, or do we rest a few?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't make my mind up on that one. Caught in 2 minds. We could go for it and look to instill confidence and lift spirtis, also gives us the best foundation for an absolute miracle at Portman Rd. Or we save legs and prevent injury, problem is, we might end up not winning.
Norwich, WBA or Hull…I suppose I’d take WBA if it comes to it.
No Shaun Leeds have got to go for it now firing on all cylinders, no resting any players.... then there's 7 days before the play off 1st leg a week on Saturday so plenty of time for the players to recover and give it their absolute best.

First legs Sunday 12th and Monday 13th, second legs Thursday 16th and Friday 17th. Final May 26th.
Pep McKenna backs up his manager of the year award.
Ipswich have the mental fortitude our lot don't.
I'm sure a few will grasp at straws on final day.
Not holding my breath for then or the play offs.
Square peg squad in the end. Couple of flash players.
Boatload of wingers. Not enough balance. No #10.
No real depth at CB. No real RB. Or LB. One #9 who
can't score. Expensive signing in Piroe who doesn't fit
Farke's system. Lack of activity in January. And a
manager who has a plan A and nothing else.
Good football for spells. No clue when it mattered.
Wasted a massive opportunity. Now we're in the
Russian roulette play offs with a team that's mentally
and physically shot. Be stunned if Ipswich slip up
against Hudds. And no way Hudds are doing us a
favour. Can't see us getting out of the semis let alone
making it to Wembley.
49ers need to take a long hard look at last season and
this and realize if you're backing a manager, give him
a balanced squad full of players he actually wants and
is willing to play.
We're supposed to be a big club FFS.

Great post and bang on
Morning allπ.
Earl’s right when he describes Leeds fans as the best on JA606. Really great comments π.
Yep, having had a night’s sleep, my depression is still raging about us having thrown away autos (got to be realistic) and DF now has to really earn his corn. As any sales manager will tell you - you’re only as good as your last order and DF should be subject to judgement/criticism just like everyone one else at the end of the season.
