If someone is willing to pay decent money for Casemiro then he’s definitely one we should cash in on.

That said, his demise this season is a perfect storm of basically no preseason, then repeated injuries (that he’s never had previously), and a system that places the kinds of demands on him that he’d have struggled with in his prime, let alone now.

Casemiro is a world class DM when defending in tight spaces and engaging opposition players at close quarters. But if we want him to marshal huge areas of space and cover ground quickly… no chance. I’ve said it before, but prime Kante, Keane or Gattuso would find it impossible to put out fires when one half of their team is high up the pitch and not pressing effectively, and the other half of his team are dropping deep preemptively. No team plays like this. Defending is about closing off the spaces, being hard to play through and being disciplined within that structure. In a team that can actually defend properly, we’d still be seeing a hell of lot more of Casemiro’s best qualities.

£70m plus the wages for a player at his age was daft, but not as daft as signing him and then deploying him in a system that seems ready made to expose him.

Casemiro - He can't run or pass

Antony - The worst signing in PL history

Sancho - Absolute joker. Get rid asap.

Lindelof - Never been a fan. Been here way too long as well.

Greenwood - Reluctantly as this one isn't based on talent. He can't play for us again.



No idea why people are including Martial. Hes out of contact and is leaving us anyway. He doesn't count. 👍

Eriksen too. I forgot him. I'm having 6 in mine.

Agree with this but I'd swap Varane for Lindelof.

Can we get a fee for Varane? Can't remember his contract situation but I reckon his time at United is up.

Just keep Mainoo Hoilund and Garnacho and everyone else is up for sale. And then instigate a ban on buying anyone over the age of 28. It might be a painful few years but no worse than what we have had the last ten.

Rashford averages 5 goals a season, no need to keep him.

Fernandes whilst talented is too ill disciplined and careless on the ball, leaving our midfield far too open. His attitude also stinks and is a big part of the problem imho.

I agree with almost all of this except for the Fernandes part.

I'd keep bruno but yeah have everyone else up for sale except for those you mentioned

Casemiro, Slabhead, Rashford, Antony and Sancho.

Unlikely to sell them all but would remove a huge chunk of the wage bill. Add Varane and Martial going on frees and that’s even more.
