since forrest came back into the team, i've yet to call him a schitebag, which has been my biggest criticism of him over the years.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Same here

he has been excellent

That in iteself is worrying. Why has a player who was out the door in January the one to rescue our attacking threat?

Sums up our winger recruitment. That is why I expect Yang and Palma to follow Haksabanovich out the door as another winger flop.

You look at what we have been able to get int hey positions in the past and this is what we have now

Roberts, Sinclair, Jota, Abada were all perfect for what the manager needed at that point

what about Ralston and his run up the park near the end of the game only for him to decide to try and weave some magic and take on the fullback

what a mess , it was like yer da out the back garden trying to show the weans hes still got it and makes a coont of it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Like me at 7's, the occassional run up the wing then forget to take the ball with me when I go past a player

See there’s three Celtic fans been arrested for throwing stuff at the weekend.

They should…eh…throw the book at them.

Good. Hope they get banned for life. Idiots

I hope the police are as quick at arresting the Rangers fans who threw glass bottles at Joe Hart

that the one where he could've played Maeda in?was going off my head at him

Aye , just had to wrap it round the last defender and he was in , but naw he watched Mbappe during the week and could definitely do that thing he did !

Rangers

Out - Free
McLaughlin
Barasic
Lundstram
Jack
Roofe
Silva
Cortes
Sima

A lot of big wages cleaned out there for guys that are finished anyway. Questions over Cortes and Sima, Cortes should be extended. Sima much depends on the money they want.

Have to move on

Davies - 2m I hope
Devine - Nothing
Lowry - Let him go on a free and get a % of next sale
Wright - Nothing or use in potential swap for Armstrong
Lammers - Should get our money back

I would like to sell two maybe 3 from Dowell / Lawrence / Cantwell / Hagi. Cantwell as the manager doesn't seem 100% on him and he should raise 3/4m, Hagi if we don't plan on using him for a couple million and one for the others can play back up to a new attacking midfielder.

Butland or Tav would need to be big money if we are going to sell them. Butland close to 10m and Tav around 4m. Goldson another touted would take 2m for him now.

Also Rice and King need loans, I would loan out McCausland too.

Leaves us absolutely threadbare.

GK Butland / McCrorie / Wright
LB Yilmaz / New LB
CB New CB / New CB
CB Souttar / Goldson or Balogun
RB Tavernier / Sterling
DM New DM / New DM
CM Diomande / Raskin
CM New CM / Lawrence or Dowell
LW Cortes (Extension) / Matondo
RW New RW / New RW
FW New FW / Danilo / Dessers

AM when we change it up - New AM / Cantwell or Hagi

9/10 players needed.

I wont' hold out much hope for us spending big in the summer. If Rodgers manages the double this season it'll be a small vindication for them that what they've done transfer wise is fine as long as he's in the job.

Can't imagine Rodgers will be happy with that thought as it's probably part of the issue that made him want to leave first time around. He was talking in the summer as if we'd spend well and it didn't happen.

Another summer of projects and maybe one signing he actually wants I reckon.

Diomande - 4m
Sima - 4m at least
Cordoba - 3m

Sell Cantwell / Dowell / Lammers / Davies.

Should get close to covering those 3 signings.

Then the board are going to have to dip into their pockets to the tune 10-15m to get decent players and that's being smart with signings. That's probably far too ambitious a sum but the kind of surgery required.

I'd like us to be going for a couple homegrown players, Watson or Miller, Danny Armstrong.

Dare i mention this one but, McBurnie is available on a free...been utter pash for Scotland but been one of Sheff Utds better players. Probably a signing I'd look at if we were struggling to pay fees.

Havent seen anything from Diomande in the past two old firm games , i assume hes looked good in his previous games ?

Danny Armstrong would be a solid addition , hes a cracking wee player and causes us alot of problems when we play killie

we do turn our noses up at the SPFL pool of players , but look at guys weve lost out on like Ferguson , Mcginn , Hickey

its daft to over look it

I think he wants to, not sure if we will stump up the cash required and tbh 4m should be the absolute limit.

He's decent but he's not yet outstanding. Could see him getting there but he might not.

Half expecting one calling into questions willie collum again.

Even though he got the big calls right you just expect the usual diversionary tactics from them.

The only positive for me is that you guys get to keep Rodgers for another year when Moyes is available

McBurnie would appeal to the staunch Rangers fans. Another Lafferty type signing

Some domestic players are worth looking at. I don't think Danny Armstrong would be as good for Rangers but you never know. I wanted us to sign Lewis Ferguson when he was at Aberdeen and I was told then that he wasn't good enough!!!

Lennon Miller would only IMO go to Celtic out of the 2. He was the stand out player at CS Jnr's age group from day one and he continued to develop where some get to pro youth and stagnate. The only other player who continued to develop like that was Bailey Rice. It was one of the strongest age groups around

Didn't realise he was a Tim.

I would go for Watson over Miller at the moment anyway because he's probably ready to come in and play. Miller probably a season or two away from really making a mark.

Just a hunch

His dad Lee played for Falkirk years ago. Being Scottish and calling his son Lennon in 2006 is a slight hint at his allegiances

rumour is that he supports us given where he grew up no evidence of that though, but was linked with moves to us numerous times and his son is named after John Lennon.

He was probably told to go on and just keep the ball Rodgers style and he only remembered when he got up the park. TBF he also hit the byeline and put in a cross which is more than what Johnston offers attacking wise.

Is this not what CT & CS are alluding to - turning the nose up until it is too late and he's off to Bologna for £2-3m then valued at £10-15m a year later?
