You don’t need to resort to that Boris, you are the better team. Man City haven’t even been particularly good this season and definitely a step down on last year, yet you are in the driving seat to win the double and probably should have won the CL again

Fact is any team can look over a season and say if only we had one this one or that one. I'm delighted with our form since the turn of the year if it's not enough then so be it that's life we move on. Come next Sunday at the final whistle whatever the outcome I will be already looking forward to next season.

At least we tried every time.
Again: it's the mentality. We hear all the time that it's a "farmer's league" but Pep has gone out with full strength team in all competitions to try to win each and every single one of them. Rodri is knackered. Other managers prioritise because they have "bigger fish to fry".

I personally have no beef with Arsenal and its fans. If you do win it, then you damn well deserve it with the run in you had, but you could have made it easier for yourselves.

We do try to win though. Which is a big difference. No way City go to Anfield and play for a draw if that loses us the top spot. And same with Liverpool coming to us

It was a massive one to drop points in though. Sure you can look at Fulham at the start of the season, but that Villa result is the one.

If City don’t win tonight, they are going to be looking back at the start of the season and thinking if only we had beaten Crystal Palace at home - no it will have been tonight’s game that had done for them

All we had to do was draw one game at the Etihad and win all the rest in 2024 to win the league.

It’s no good grinding a draw out at the Etihad only to lose at home to Villa though is it.

You’re going to get this if you don’t win the league, it’s the way it is.

In 2017, Chelsea started the year 11 points clear at the top. Spurs finally beat them giving others a chance to catch - no one took advantage. Spurs then won 12 of their last 13, losing once, 1-0 away to West Ham and Chelsea won the league by 6 points so it still didnt matter - everyone, led by Rachel faaaacking Riley still called us bottlers - despite it making zero sense.

You reap what you sew - if you do win the league you will give me pelters, that’s fine, it’s the nature of the game
