If we get a 50m+ offer we should let him go. Far too unreliable in possession.
People don't understand we should be having a clearout sales right now.
And if Bruno has any actual goals of winning something, and playing in a good team anytime soon he should leave. For him to stay, will say a lot about him too.
Who said anything about building the side around him?
Luckhurst taking more L's than Erik Ten Hag at the moment. 😂
Gutter press journalists make my blood boil.

In the article
“ Fernandes and his entourage joined members of United’s football leadership team at the club’s Carrington training ground for a lengthy conversation, during which it was underlined that the INEOS-led regime intend to continue building around its 29-year-old captain.”

Bruno has not played close enough to be worthy of building around. Only a team at our level will want to build around.

Bruno Fernandes only decent player at Man Utd. I wouldn't sell him even for £200M.
I doubt we’ll be changing the entire personnel this summer, plenty of deadwood needs moving on before Bruno, and without him we have little or no creativity

there is no reasonable answer to the second half of that statement, Hafi.
Sometimes it is also good to reflect and maybe admit wrong. I too have been attacking Bruno for a while, but seeing these past two games shows his importance. We created next to Ziltch without him.
Yes, he is a frustrating player but he is by far our best player.
This is hardly surprising.

No it doesn’t
You can't get rid of everyone all at once.
Absolute nonsense thisnrepkrt.
All comes from him being asked if he was staying at United, to which he essentially said he wants to but it depends if the club want him still, which he believed they did.
Is this even news? He was never going anywhere this summer.
I’d like to see us not treat him as an ‘undroppable’ moving forward though. Pep isn’t afraid to sub or rotate his key players and we can’t cultivate an environment where someone like Bruno plays every minute of every game regardless form, number of minutes, opposition or what they are needs in the moment. We need to build a better overall squad, especially as Bruno isn’t getting any younger.

It's a turn off phrase, uses by thr journalist, to emphasise he remains an important player.
Why do so many of our fans not yet understand the game the media play with United fans?
Tbf we did try to bring in some back up/competition in Mount and Donny before him. Both turned out to be pathetic.
we can replace them with footballers that can keep the ball and so we can play a more attractive style of football.
------------------------------------------
Fernandes can do this though if the side is actually geared and able to do that and sustain attacking pressure.
Playing like that would only benefit him and the team.
Journo in Portugal ask if he remains happy to stay at United, given our struggles, to which he essentially says yes, as long as the club still want me,.which he believes they do.
Few days later, BS rumours are reported of big bids from abroad.
Now, some journo, paid to write stories on United, reports 'big talsm were required between the club amd his reps'
Quit swallowing everything they serve up
Bruno is by quite some distance our best player. He deserves a better manager and better players around him rather than us getting rid of him.
More pressing areas that need fixing but if a silly offer came in (over £75m) then we’d have to think about it. But that would also be based on our recruitment being able to find more suitable replacements which I don’t really trust them doing.
Wouldn’t mind him moving on next summer, though. I think a move away from playing with a number 10 could help us, especially if we get full backs that can attack and support the wingers.
I wouldn't take that phrase in the article 'continue to build the side around him' literally or definitively. No smart sporting operation builds the whole strategy around one player.
As others have said, Bruno seems to be encouraged to play a free role and take a high risk / high reward approach. Is it impossible to imagine that he might rein that side of his game in a bit if we start to develop the squad and tactics that enable us to play more ball-dominant football? If anyone thinks Bruno is the main thing holding us back from playing that way, they'll have an unpleasant surprise if he leaves.
