He is getting a bit much media wise....
I think these last few days have been strange though, and emotions all over the place.
Fans justification for this is perverse.
Highly critical of our "disgraceful" results in the same breath as wanting us to lose vs City.
It is odd that he suddenly changed his tune about where we finish and his in games tactics.
Like you I would have much preferred him to have kept his mouth shut and concentrate on the job at hand. Our problems are far worse than just a one game result, he's said as much too.
His pop at the fan behind him yesterday kind of tells a story in itself. Yes he has the right to reply but so do the fans.
I'm starting to think is he working his way cleverly to get the sack and a pay day. Maybe he just does not fancy it any more and will walk......
I thought it was obvious in Scotland that he was a prickly character, he treated the media with disdain, some fans thought rightly so.
Just don't complain when they get on his back. Which they will at the earliest opportunity because he speaks to them like they are schit on his shoe.
they do say do your talking on the pitch.....that's good advise Ange take note.
It is never acceptable to turn on the fans. But even more so when we have had such poor form, he has no right to comment on fans when his team hasn't been performing.
He doesn't get it RE the fans thoughts lastnight, which is fine. But please don't walk in and after 1 season start making us look stupid or that you care about this club more than we do, because you don't.
I said it loads of time, but this club is extremely lucky to have the fans it does. Haven't won anything in ages and yet sell out 62k home games and all away allocations. Our fans have never had the opportunity to understand proper success (in recent times) yet still turn up week in week out.
Never ever turn on the fans. Continue to do that and as far as I'm concerned he can fack off. I don't care if he could be the next Pep, he works for us. Not anybody else.
Having lost 5 out of 6 with the only victory coming against a relegated team I'm sure Ange is happy to deflect the media interest onto the fans opinion of Arsenal.

Congrats on CL for next season
From the outside it seems like he is looking for an escape goat for his failings in the past weeks.
A responsible manager would have said, ‘this is not the game we should have banked on winning and we had the chance to finish the job in the past few weeks..’
In my opinion Tottenham had a small chance of getting CL football, even if they beat City as Aston Villa are a top side and all they need is a draw! It was never in his hands so for me it looks like he is deflecting.
I think if winning the last two games would have resulted in CL football then all fans would have backed their team but if there is a small chance then I can completely understand why the fans would not want their arch rivals to win the league.

Andy’s !!!! Long time !!!! Good outfit this season your boys. Intrigued to see how you get on in the CL..
His outburst seemed like a bit of a deflection from his recent failings. That's 5 losses in 6 now.
Last night we played well and were tactically astute. I don't know why last night he finally figured it out, but I'm hoping he's learnt from it for next season.
He's had a bit of a free hit this season with most fans just appreciating some decent football for a change, but next season (if Levy backs him) the pressure will be on. I hope he can cope with it.
I'm all for managers having a pop at our precious fan base. If you can give it out, learn to take it.
Tbf he didn't even have a pop at us but some are taking it via the victim card road 😂😂😂
had you kept kane, how many more points do you reckon you would have?
thats a massive variable to consider, losing your star player.

He hasnt changed his tune about anything.
As long as anything was achievable, anything was our goal. When only 4th became achievable, 4th became our goal.
And how has he changed game tactics....an approach that looks to be front foot, attacking, aggressive and playing to win can be tweaked and refined without it being a "changed tune"

Well last night we were playing the best team on the continent for the last 5 years, who were at full strength while we were having to be more circumspect with 4 or 5 injuries. We couldnt go full tilt at them even if we wanted to.
Ange isn't a great manager, for someone who wants to win its baffling that he won't adapt his tactics when necessary, his game management is pretty poor.
But the football he plays is terrific, if you want your team to have a winning mentality then you need people who want to win, who need to win. Not people who can turn it off for a laugh at their rivals.
