Funny how on one fragile poster has go harp back to the start of the season to have a dig.

The whole reaction to his Fragile Foundation comments is hilarious by Spurs fans. The victim card merchants within the foundation are absolute buzzing.

If anything they should be grateful to Ange for giving them a reason to cry and act like babies.

Wakey wakey boys...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or he’s just deflecting from his own poor decisions, performances and comments?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, he was asked specifically if he could see the foundations of how he wants his team to compete next season.

Cool.

Plenty to do over the summer then. Fingers crossed the talent matches the ego.

Indeed any game is a lottery to an extent, a bad call, a wrong red card, a team just unusually clicking and playing better than they have all season?

This could happen but just feel that Spurs are certainly the better side than Utd and will be motivated to an extent more than the oppo, good luck anyway, hope you romp it

5th place is whereabouts we should be. Based on expenditure on wages and transfers. Arguably overachieving slightly, especially when you factor in losing Kane.

I am happy with this seasons outcome. Start of the season I said I don’t care too much about league position. I just wanted to enjoy watching Tottenham play again. Well there has been up and downs. But all in all I happy most of the team now don’t treat the football like a grenade that has had the pin pulled.

I am hopeful we identify the areas still needing to be improved on. In the main the transfers have worked. So no reason to think we won’t kick on further and shift the ones not pulling in the right direction.

Will Ange blame the fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He might blame those who thought 0 points vs City was a better outcome than 1 or 3, which would have sorted 5th place.

Demonstrates the fickleness and hypocrisy of Spurs fans. Happy to lose to City but will lose their shiiiit if we end 6th.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Crazy how our lack of wanting to win is now the fans fault - I didn’t even think Levy could pull that one off but here we are.

Like I said elsewhere, Ange can moan all he wants about the attitude of our fans in the City game, but at the same time should explain how he thought rotating us out of the League cup at Fulham was a positive thing
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You do know that Fulham beat a full strength Spurs 3-0 a month or so ago, so this whole "rotated us out of the Carabao" is just BS. Not to mention it was the first round, his 4th game as he accustomised himself with his squad and he selected a team packed full of internationals....its not like he picked academy kids, and we lost on pens FFS, a better performance than the first XI managed.

Using the Carabao exit as a stick to beat Ange with is just pathetic from Spurs fans

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly.

We have progressed in many areas. The end to the season has taken the shine off it but at least it lays bares that a lot of work needs to be done on the training pitch, with the players mentality and in the transfer window. We are under no illusions that all is not rosy in garden, everyone at the club needs to find the next level. COYS!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s a stick to beat Levy with Devon as we do it time and again.

Also since Ange essentially blamed the fans on Tuesday, it’s only fair to ask the question back at him - why did we show a lack of ambition in the Carabao cup this season, especially as did not have European football?

Look, if it was next season, then i would expect a more considered approach Ange if we had a tough away draw in the League Cup.

But to be soo critical of him, so early in his time at Spurs, literally 3 weeks into the season when he is still learning about the team is totally unfair.

FWD, LW, CM/DM.

I would also like to see a better LB understudy to Udogie and a pacey backup to VDV

My money is on Chelsea..... I fear we will just end ANOTHER season trying to put a positive spin on things (we are more attacking BUT can't defend, Arsenal didn't win the league etc) but surely the time has passed where anyone can have any real faith that Enic have any sporting ambition.

All Spurs have really proved this year is that Ange likes to attack (we knew that already), our players are mentally weak and that Spurs are run as a business first where sporting success is secondary.

I find it hard to really get excited about Spurs.. Ange talks a good game but building a winners mentality at a club that doesn't prioritize winning is a challenge I doubt he'll overcome.

Our list of winners is a long one..... Modders, Campbell, Bale, Teddy, Carrick, Eriksen, Walker, (Kane probably) etc... Sadly they all went elsewhere to achieve it

Come on Dismond, surely we can get a point off of relegated Sheffield?

We didn’t even play that badly on Tuesday and the players will know something is still at stake!

We Defo can mate BUT i wouldn't be putting any money on it. I can't be ar5ed to look it up but havent we taken 3 points out of the last 18. We have Son, Madders, Sarr, BJ, Kulu, Bentancur & PEH bang out of form and Richy, Timo, Biss & Udogie out injured.

All the pressure on Spurs at a ground we usually F*ck up at

The whole reaction to his Fragile Foundation comments is hilarious by Spurs fans. The victim card merchants within the foundation are absolute buzzing.

We did lose the game so I wouldn't expect anything else. Would you? We can talk about 'attacking the fans' all we like to deflect from the game but he was asked about the foundations and gave his thoughts on the subject.

Furthermore he took responsibility and said something about going back to the drawing board and making adjustments.
