I don't think that's what he's referencing - he said himself today the club has said they'll give him whatever he needs

Fair enough
I know he's not solely responsible but your recruitment last summer was mostly spot on and if you can continue to add depth you should be able to somewhat negate the bad runs of form you had this season.

---
He's literally just apologised FFS. I think you need to let it go
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate, I was one of very few on here wanting us to win on Tuesday so believe it or not, I'm not asking for an apology. I would have been one of few that he'd have backed for doing the right thing.
What I find a little galling is that there are quite a few on here right now, who, quite loudly declared they wanted City to utterly butcher us, now taking the moral high ground and saying Ange is right and those fans should be ashamed of themselves. Feck me! Hypocrisy much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not what the rest of your rant was about but ok.
FWIW I was one of those joking on here I'd be alright with a City win. I was and am. But I wouldn't go to the stadium to shout at the manager and cheer the opposition. Just stay at home if you're not going to support the team.
Same goes double for any staff that were joking about us throwing the game. Say what you like in private, but to turn up at work at Spurs and say that as if that's fine.. is exactly the mentality we don't need. I don't care if it's Mason or the tea lady, they need sacking

This seems fair. A bit of professionalism and support isn’t much to ask. It’s obviously what shocked the manager so much because it’s a bit tin pot.

Just goes to show to show how thick and stupid Spurs fans were after hearing his comments.
Gonna be alot of humble pie but knowing some of them, they will double down on their stupidity.
I'm hear for it 😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought it was down to to fans and not a wider conspiracy involving Levy etc but correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you one of the fans wanting us to lose?

because I noticed a theme with you where you like to name call fellow spurs fans that have a different opinion to yourself, which is why I called you a plastic gangster, the fact you are calling spurs fans thick now, I am not even sure what for!?

It seems that, although that one specific fan giving him shiiit must have been bloody irritating, it's a little sensitive to assume that he's representative of the entire fan base.
From what I've seen most fans can only really be accused of apathy, at most. When Son went through, instinct kicked in, they all rose from their seat and put their heads in their hands when he missed. It was only then did they maybe breathe a sign of relief. Very few were doing the poznan and maybe a when the whole "Are you watching Arsenal?" started, we were already behind. They weren't actively chanting against their own club at 0-0.
As much as Ange is right, he's being massively oversensitive here. I think it's quite uncharacteristic of him to not read the room in terms of fan mood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think you understand his job at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh do enlighten me.You clearly have the inside track.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His job is too win games and if he deviates from that his credability is gone. Like any manager of any team, he expects his club fans to want the same as well.
The whole notion of fans wanting their team to lose is alien to him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And so it should be to any grown up supporter, although there are quite a few juveniles on here.
It's also a alien concept to any Australian

I was amazed that the gate was over 61k on Tues. I thought alot of Spurs supporters would stay at home rather than go and watch the match wanting us to lose. I had the chance of a ticket but as I was one of those wanting City to win I stayed away.
I got exactly what I wanted, City to win but not a thrashing. The arrogance of some people telling folk how they should support their team is hilarious.
If Celtic had been in the same position regarding Rangers potentially winning the league their supporters would have been the same (if not worse).
My cousins (4 of them) are Celtic season ticket holders. I remember being at a family wedding with them around the time Rangers were put into the 4th tier. I said wouldn't they miss the big games against them and was told in no uncertain terms that they'd rather they'd gone out of business and no longer existed.
I don't like Arsenal but I wouldn't want them to disappear, I'd miss the rivalry.
