Why would a totally innocent club not fully co-operate with the investigation? 35 charges related to that alone.
If I knew my club was innocent I'd be cooperating with everything to embarrass my accusers as early as possible.
City's behaviour from the very start of this screams guilt and their play is to hide behind lawyers.
Juventus fans probably never thought Serie A would sanction them. They did though and then some. Time for the PL to grow some balls and send them down.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Juve were guilty of match fixing and bribing officals though.
City aren't accused of anything that many other clubs have done several times.

The two seasons that Arsenal have finished runners up aren't even being investigated. It's between 2008/9 and 2017/18 inclusive isn't it where the charges apply?
United and Liverpool were the teams robbed if anybody has been. Don't think a PTS deduction is a good punishment either as it could benefit Arsenal or Chelsea for example who weren't second place in the impacted seasons.
This is why the titles they won in that period should be null and voided if they can't prove their innocence. That's the best solution to ensure cheats don't win.

I agree the titles shouldn't be awarded to runners up. However, I don't think the EPL will strip them because it might damage the brand.

What point of law? Premier League setup rules of PSR and FFP and Man City are charged with breaking them.
City haven't broken any PSR rules.
There's no good outcome for this. If the charges are upheld then the brand is massively damaged and although City would pay a punishment it's likely not going to be as severe as it should be.
If they get away with it then it will be bedlam. The other clubs aren't going to accept it and just move on. Nobody is going to be believe 115 charges were all mistakes and rightly so as it's abundantly clear they are not.
There's no winners here. Stripping the titles would be the best punishment as it will prove that all that cheating got them nowhere and will put off anyone doing it again. Sending them down a division won't be good enough. They'd be back up within 1 year and free to carry on doing as they are.
Strip the titles, let them stay in the PL have to live with the choices they made. That seems the best option to me.
United and Liverpool should NOT be awarded the league titles. Leave them null and void.
All premier league clubs are required to submit accounts so that they can be judged if they comply with PSR and FFP. If those accounts are faked, then obviously they have broken those rules.

Its not theoretically true. For a case to be appealed in a UK court the charges need to be filled in a UK court.

I might have misheard and maybe they just said can appeal, is to the PL. One of those 50/50 did I hear that moments. I'll relisten and check at some point.

You absolutely can appeal an arbitration on a point of law which would have to go to court for a decision. Like I said, I can’t envisage any scenario where City are likely to do this
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What point of law? Premier League setup rules of PSR and FFP and Man City are charged with breaking them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The arbitration act. Like I said, there’s no chance that city will do anything with that though.

Probably not worth engaging with Boris on stuff like this. If he's ever right it's just by accident and he's unable to be sensible or impartial at all.

No they’re absolutely right they could appeal to the court of appeal, it’s just completely unlikely.
