Jack shouldn’t have been included, but doesn’t make sense to drop him now.

There are 6 centre backs in the squad plus Tierney who plays there for us.

Add in McTominay who has played there for us and McCrorie, we have too many options there and not enough in midfield. Unless Tierney or Robertson will play on the right, but even then you have McCrorie.

Clarke saying hes been fit but just not picked is utter pash.

I was at the B team game a couple of weeks ago where Jack plodded through the first 45 minutes looking in not particularly great shape at all and certainly nowhere near top team match fit.

Meh used to watch Hendry, Griff and others do the same - faces tripping them because they're embarrassed to be there and playing Stenny fringe players or similar - Bo'ness in the Lowland look like a pub team, guts n'all. No fan of Jack but he's always done his best for Scotland. Worst thing to happen allowing the squads to be so big - favours the stronger nations as per.

He looked physically overweight and unfit.

His attitude was fine. He just looked like he could barely run.

I think with Jack a lot of it may be down to the fact that he can also play RB.

Clarke doesnt seem keen to introduce players that havent played under him before?

and so will Clarke likely agree, but Jack has played a few games for us at RB and Clarke has worked with him and Jack has worked with the others in the squad before so he will be there as an emergency option I assume

Wouldn’t be surprised to see McCrorie play ahead of Ralston.

Jack has played the same amount of football as Ralston this season, McCrorie has been a regular in that right back spot for a few months, at right wing back at times too
