I think this back and forth is about an individuals perspective?
I get someone wanting to look after themselves and that is their priority, no issue there
What I want myself would be that if I had to work an extra year or two or lose out fiscally slightly in other ways but that allowed my kids, friends, work mates etc to have a better NHS, Social services, level of living then I would do what was required?
As said though its entirely down to an individuals perspective, each to their own
- Austerity
- Brexit
- NOT taking back control
- Fall in living standards
- NHS skint (my grandmother had the most undignified death stuck in a stroke ward)
- Public services a mess
- Teresa May
- Boris Johnson
- Not taking Covid seriously at the beginning of 2020
- Lockdown laws but having lovely parties instead
- Boris lying about parties then almost dying from Covid
- Economy a mess
- Little effort in trying to tackle the climate issue
- Tory PMs being booted out due to scandal after scandal
- Lizz Truss super ecomics
- inflation, gas & electric prices, food prices
- energy & oil companies recording massive profits and handing out bonuses to the bosses while we may ridiculous energy prices
- Rishi Sunak the multi millionaire loving life as PM
- The water scandals, Thames water about to go bust, water companies pumping waste into our waters

The retirement age should have gone down in the last 14 years.
One person can perform the equivalent work of 10 people a few decades ago. This wealth has been stolen from you and everyone else. It's ludicrous that people have been beaten down so much that they think things boil down to economics and not corruption and mismanagement.

Best outcome would be a hung Parliament and stifled policy implementation until a genuinely better alternative party comes along.
Lib Dems will get my vote.

This is an example of the Tories poisoning the political well so much people are buying the narrative that everyone else is tainted by association. After 14 years of Tory misrule (see House's list above) it's suddenly a bipartisan issue with politics on the whole that needs widespread reform.
