I fear it's gonna be Sarri mk2 and boring as feck football, but hope I am wrong
, hello mate,
Yeah, by all accounts it will not exciting football 24/7.
But at this point personally I would take winning ugly from time to time, so that the squad can put some hairs on their chest and the squad can start to develop a spine.
It will be a massive shame if Gallagher goes imo.
he does have a very decent track record to date
=======
Sacked after a few months with Parma and then last season is all that is on his managerial record. Wouldn't say that was very decent, more average.
Oh, you are a ray of sunshine, fck off!

Isn't he ever !
I wouldn’t say as a Leicester fan he has a decent track record - he has one season effectively with us. The fact Leicester fans are not bothered about him leaving should raise alarm bells with you
The guy was given the most expensively assembled squad in championship history. It was a PL team playing the likes of Millwall every week. He did what was expected but even then we looked horribly exposed tactically whenever we played anyone in the top 6. Our record against the top 6 was pretty awful actually
I’m sure he will do well to begin with given the players you have - but he’s not a long term appointment for Chelsea. It’s a stupid risk which like every appointment you make will backfire
If we can get a fit squad together, and also if our young guys can mature some more ! I think that we can improve on last season ,maybe top 4.
Just hope that Maresca is given time and not interfered with too much ,if you know what I mean.

Imagine being bitter about a manager who won the championship for you. What a weapon.
98, considering the way you guys departed the Premiership, a 97 point return should not be scoffed at imo.
Good luck with your new manager, where do you expect to finish next season?
H
I hope that the club, do something about the reasoning for our abysmal injury record.
Also im extremley excited about a squad which will field a fit James, Forfana, Lavia, Nkunku, & Chilwell.
At this point i would welcome a disciplined playing structure.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The way we departed from the premiership was by being completely mismanaged at board level resulting in a situation whereby a mid table PL team featuring the likes of Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes and Vardy finished in the bottom 3.
We were too good to go down on paper and we kept hold of most of our key players. What that meant was we were lining up against Milwall and Rotherham with the likes of Iheanacho and Coady on the bench. We were smashing middle of the road second tier sides with Ndidi, Winks, Vardy, and new signings the rest of the division couldn’t afford
With no disrespect to Maresca, I think I could have taken Leicester back up. Even then, the football he played at times could have been used as a form of torture. I watch my club every week so probably in a better position to comment on Maresca than any Chelsea fan in fairness
Oh and in terms of where do I think we’ll finish? Bottom. Massive points deduction incoming and no money to spend - partly because of the reasons listed above

If it was up to him he would have hired Farke, who in expert opinion was better equipped to take Leicester up 😂.
But he is probably right, Enzoball would have got Leicester relegated in the prem.
ok,
We were too good to go down on paper and we kept hold of most of our key players.
Im not sure what that means, over 38 games you were not good enough to maintain your premiership status. you did go down , and Maresca guided you back to the big time with 97 point finish, despite the mid season wobble, which I would not take for granted.
But back to the question
Good luck with your new manager, where do you expect to finish next season?
Got it , well what can i say
With no disrespect to Maresca, I think I could have taken Leicester back up. Even then, the football he played at times could have been used as a form of torture.
The internet is brilliant. Man behind keyboard says he could have won promotion and having possession is torture. Probably prefers 30% possession and teams dominating them. It's really good to watch btw.
I don't get it. Kompany was lauded for his possession based football and even an entertaining style in the championship, then he was criticised for using the same tactics in the PL - but we're not allowed to provide similar critique on Maresca?
I am expecting N'Kunku and Jackson hit it off this next season hopefully ,and that would be a huge positive.
I don't know what is happening as regards Gallagher and Tchaloba,I hope the board are sensible !
Hopefully we get a decent C/B and goalkeeper, maybe Lunin from RM, he must be really peeed of after playing nearly all season and then getting dropped for the C/L final.
H, Players out,
We will be selling home grown pure profit assets, for sure.
With the prospect of Tosin coming in and Forfana coming back, i assume Chalobah will be put up for sale.
