yep, just based on my letterboxd account, the 2020s is my lowest rated decade, with less than 10% of my ratings being 4/5 or better, as follows:
the kid detective
another round
blackberry
benediction
playground
riders of justice
shiva baby
candyman
licorice pizza
minari
possessor
dune
king richard

The 2020s has been dire for film.
All that comes to mind:
Dune (both parts)
Oppenheimer
Top Gun: Maverick
All Quiet on the Western Front
Seven Kings Must Die
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah those look like the big hitters.
Some of these might be worth a go:
Palm Springs
Aftersun
Another Round
Possessor
The Northman
The Boy and the Heron
Minari
Days
I'd be up for trying Oppenheimer too

70s
Aguirre, the Wrath of God
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I reckon this is the most over rated movie of all time
So my list of films I need to watch for the 2020s:
Palm Springs
Aftersun
Another Round
Possessor
The Northman
The Boy and the Heron
Minari
Days
Titane
Antomy of a Fall
Killers of the Flower Moon
Godzilla Minus One
2020's
Society Of The Snow
Aftersun
Banshees Of Inesherin
Godzilla Minus One
Dune
Plus
King Richard
Oppenheimer
All this proves and has always been apparent, they don’t make films like they used to. Everyone’s 2010 onwards list there are a few crackers in there, but the list is nothing compared to the 70s,80s or 90s list. Cinema peaked in the 80s when you include childhood classics like Goonies, Big etc etc. Every genre including Horror at its peak in the 80s. The 90s obviously had some beauties like Goodfellas etc. Fantastic comedies like My Cousin Vinny, Mrs Doubtfire, but films these days are nothing compared to what they were
How has Forrest Gump only had 1 nomination on this thread? Not only is it one of the greatest films of the 90s, it's one of the greatest films ever made IMO.
Cinema peaked in the 60s, not in the 80s!
80s was probably the most difficult for picks as most variety in that decade

too much Hanks in the 90s
Again, not what the thread's about, but just for the record, the following of my own entries have been selected by others so far:
1920s
-
1930s
-
1940s
-
1950s
-
1960s (I have 10)
Psycho 1960
Lawrence of Arabia 1962
The Graduate 1967
2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
1970s
Jaws 1975
Alien 1979
1980s
E.T. The Extra Terrestrial 1982
1990s
L.A. Confidential 1997
2000s
Gladiator 2000
2010s
La La Land 2016
Arrival 2016
For me the 90's and 00's were the best decades. Was the 80's that great? Possibly was but there was plenty of cheese around!

there was a lot of bulk in the 80s for sure. it was really the mass production decade in films.
I's also probably say that it was the decade of the blockbuster movie.
agree there are lots of good movies to choose from, but I'd say that same about just about any decade tbh.
Nobody done the 50s?
