Can't just print more money? Surely that'll fix it?
I read something along the lines of the USA printing more money, post covid, than they ever had previously. Not sure if I am remembering that correctly, but it was something staggering.

Yeah the fed printed about $3trn in 2020.
Inflation is a myth. I have had a £20 note in my drawer since 1993 and guess what, it's still worth £20. They only tell you it's going to reduce in value to get you to spend it sooner. Don't listen to the government. Think for yourself
I went to 3 group games at Euro '96
For the 2 at Elland Rd I the tickets cost £30 (which I thought was a bit steep at the time )
1976 FA Cup final vs Southampton ticket was £2.50.
So 25 quid back then would have covered a night out for beer and whatever $hite I would eat once kicking out time and the taxi home.
