Excitemtn has definitely kicked in for me. Counting down the hours until I finish work. Finishing early then heading into town for a couple then wander to the fanzone at the barras.

Adams or Shankland?

Think I'd go Shankland

Think he showed enough in the Holland game that he can perform against a decent side...and I think his hold up play would be better than Adams

Was poor in the recent friendlies mind you

Against Germany you could argue we need a lone striker who can do a lot of graft and running so it would point to Adams. However, in a game where we may have few chances you could argue we need a poacher so it would be Shankland.

My instinct was it would be Adams but Shankland got the number 9 shirt in the squad which for me is telling.

Just thinking about the German centre halfs aswell, will likely be Rudiger and one of either Schlotterbeck or Tah

I dont see Adams getting much change out of those two, I think Shankland would be better from a physical point of view, and in the air he would hold his own a bit more

Adams has a bit more pace though

looking forward to the whole tournament tbf.

But buzzing for us. Just hope we dont get skelped tonight. The team look very focused and look ready to go out there tonight. Fingers crossed thats the case, we have a very close unit it seems and if they can get belief and confidence from tonights game we could shock a lot of people.
