It’s been penalties in 2 of the last 3. It’s not an impossible task.

The Swiss knocked out France in the previous Euros and played well against Germany - it wouldn’t shock me if they scraped through.

A path has opened for England and Italy now with France out of the way. The best 2 teams either could meet in the semis would be Belgium or Austria - that is a huge incentive

So if England win then maybe Czechs next round?

So far it looks like Spain favourites, then Germany, then perhaps Portugal

They were clinging on against Albania, completely outplayed by Spain and a minute away from defeat against Croatia.

They will be tough, very tough in fact - but they are not France, they don’t have Mbappe and we beat them home and away in qualifying. This is the kindest route we could have got

Providing we win tonight of course

But if the racking Italians do it again I won't be happy

If we come second we will be on the schitt side of the drawer and it will be Germany, Spain, France/Portugal - absolutely zero chance.

3rd place - would see us the right side of the draw most likely (a few permutations) probable route would be Belgium, Austria, Italy

Just don’t finish second and we’re in with a real chance
