I don't think he humbled anyone, if we blow away Spain then perhaps. But 45 mins of good football out of 5 games hasn't humbled me.
Can’t argue against his record, he certainly has more experience than anyone in tournament football as far as English football is concerned. But let’s not forget how easy this run has been and the team has struggled to get past teams. Really all our KO games should’ve been over in 90. Those extra minutes played will make a difference vs Spain no doubt.
Southgate’s record vs top 10 teams is poor. At least today he notched a win.
Positive is that team performances are getting better, but I’m not sure even that first half performance will be good enough vs Spain.
Whilst you can say his subs have had an impact, they’ve been brought on late up until today’s game.
Southgate will need to bring his best ever game on Sunday to beat Spain. If Kane doesn’t turn up either, I don’t fancy much chance for England. If England do lose, we need FA to get a replacement in.

I literally have these feelings when we win games. I think Southgate built something great, but isn't making the most of it and then when we make it to another final I cheer the goals but there's a small part of me thats like 'Perhaps we shouldn't have played Gordon instead of Foden all along'

This is the moment where he has to prove he's got something about him the quality of this team will get us past the minnow's but up against the best where what the manager decides to do in game makes a massive difference. On Sunday after fifty minutes when we've had hardly any of the ball and Kane is crawling will he make that decision to take him off I don't think so if he does then fair play to him. The bottom line is I would very much doubt you'd want him managing your club I certainly wouldn't want him at mine. If he does somehow pull out a win on Sunday then he can walk off into the sunset with his head held high.

It’s international football, you get about 3 days with the players, they are all dead from playing a million regular minutes, the pressure is high and we are winning - it’s not pretty but we are doing enough and another final feels great

Which bit of that is funny? They've shown capability but been all over the place in their performances this tournament and also got a fairly easy ride to this stage in the tournament. They were our biggest test and hopefully woke us up, but I think there's four teams on the other side of the draw who would have put us away today.
