It has nothing to do with being xenophobic ffs. I'm English and would want an English manager managing England, a position as important, if not more, than any player. I mean what's the point in international competition between countries if we can just take a player, or in this case a manager, from whatever country we want?

I didn't want Sven or Capello at the time, but got behind England still because I wouldn't abandon supporting my country. My preference hasn't changed.

Klopp is an over rated manager, he wouldn`t be getting regular leg ups from the officials managing England, and add to that he is an odious bad losing hypocritical tramp from the nation of our biggest rivals. Appointing him has nothing going for it whatsoever and the only people suggesting it will be moronic Bin Dippers

Klopp's obviously the best of the bunch, but I'm not sure his style would work with a team that perennially looks shattered come big tournaments.

Well, Greasy, I have to admit I was a bit of a Spurs fan (maybe still a teeny-weeny bit). I had no choice having been shoved into digs a very short distance from the ground (between Northumberland Park & Brantwood Road) in the late 70’s & early 80’s. I was often down ‘The Lane’ to watch them. For me, anyway, the best nightlife ‘darntherr’ 😀

Given Klopp and Howe are highly unlikely to take it and some of the names don't jump out, I'd take a risk with Carsley. Apparently done well with City's academy and also won the U21 Euros with England.
