Mainoo is nothing like pogba, for a start doesn’t have pogba’s talent and certainly not his vision, has a different style and also has none of pogba’s entitlement and arrogance. Seems humble and hard working and crucially, grounded.

Souness is a richard but, like a stopped clock, is occasionally right. I can see risks in pushing Mainoo too hard too soon. But he seems pretty mature for his age to me. He’ll be fine. .
