It's been over 10 years of this site and I don't think a single thing has changed, so I wouldn't get my hopes up with regards to changes to the filtering features now

All little friendship groups where only the people that agree with each other can talk to each other etc.

Then match day threads come along and people are now going to have to do two or three match live threads because not everyone can talk on them, it's pretty stupid!

Then match day threads come along and people are now going to have to do two or three match live threads because not everyone can talk on them, it's pretty stupid!

I tried to fight this fight when the trend started.

spot on i dont think anyone with say more than 5 ppl on their filter list should have a thread made live.

I have Penshawdave filtered because I don't participate.
Sometimes Haafi because.
Once Scholey Scholey but not now.
Once Red666 because he had a campaign against me for some reason.

I was more alluding to that if nobody posted on plumpys he would have a meltdown that nobody likes him and hopefully leave the site. I think he has half the board filtered.

I recall the days before the filter feature was introduced. The site was mired in petty arguments and hijacked articles.

Much like it is now, but without power given to those losing the argument…

Yeah last years pre season I tried it out and we won, then I did a couple of proper games and we won. But as soon as we lost one the haters/ABM’s were out in force dragging up the past and referring to the curse etc.

Without the usual ABEs the experience was better, we actually won. The problem are the abusive ABEs.

The one's I have filtered do nothing enhance my experience on JA606, they are happy to abuse others and spread negativity. When they get a taste of their own medicine they feel offended. I see no reason why they should be unfiltered TBH and it is not half the site either.

We should allowed to have multi match threads

A typical match thread with comments spread over 500 pages has pun highjacking the page with content nothing to do with the match or full of negativity from likes of Franko, Baz or weird nonsense involving 2 or 3 them.

Think you'll find I do comment on the match and don't randomly abuse people like you do. Leave baz and my old man alone.

- VC

Hardly half the site, hardly people who contribute anything positive or inclusive.
