I watch them if they're at a reasonable time, wouldn't change my plans to make sure I'm home for them or anything but of course if I can I'll watch any game. Would probably watch a training match if it were being broadcast and I was sat at home

I don't get the impression any of the academy players have been put on a clear pathway to getting serious minutes in the first team next season in the way Mainoo appeared to be last summer. Not sure if ETH intended to single out Collyer in his comments or whether the quotes that went around this week about him getting an opportunity were just answering a question about the player.

Looks to me that there are several senior players in the travelling squad that the club will try to sell this window (Sancho, AWB, Casemiro, Mejbri, maybe McTominay) and a lot of the youngsters are going along for experience.

I was quite impressed with Gore a year ago. Not quite the freakish serenity on the ball that Mainoo possessed, but played confidently and intelligently among the senior players. A shame he was out with an injury this year. I haven't seen as much of Collyer yet, and would be interested to hear comparisons between him and Gore from the more avid academy-watchers.

Some twitter random reckons Hannibal is in advanced talks to join Rangers on loan.

New set piece coach being signed by the looks of it, let the last new guy go that was meant to be decent, fckin shiyte turned out to be.

This new guy is the Lillestrom manager (another first team manager coming to be part of the coaching staff ).

Andreas Georgson, previously brought in to Southampton while Jason Wilcox was there so presuming he's had a lot to do with this.
