We've lost our last 13 wickets for 134 runs. It's obviously moving around a little bit out there and SL have bowled well but England have been pretty poor in this game since Duckett got out in the first innings. SL have been mostly on top since then.

Correct but if they can bowl like that, we can bowl like that

Nuts that England are favourites on winviz but I guess with some runs on the board, even chasing 150 will be tough if the conditions remain the same over the next couple of days.

We should be favourites we have 146 lead, four more batsman to play with and a wicket that is doing something when we do have to bowl

Some sublime batting from Smith here now

Flashes on to 49 not out and we have a lead of 180

They are into our tail though and given how quickly the middle order got bundled out, it was very likely that the tail could get blown away too. Smith starting to put the game more into our favour but I'd say it was close to 50/50 now on the basis that we can get to a 200ish lead.

Great half century just what we needed

This has been a superb knock so far though. Gave himself a chance before going on the attack.

A proper batsman Smith, needs someone to stay with him
