I’m very worried. Ten Hag simply isn’t good enough. I’m concerned we will have a bit of a bounce back year and keep him, but the issues will still be there in 12 months and the likes of Tuchel, Zidane and Poch are all in top jobs.
Sack him now and we can replace him with a top manager.
Southgate will save us after Xmas
Neither of the two players signed so far should be any where near a Manchester United squad, let alone a starting eleven.

Not worried at present. There's still time to sign players and it's not like they've missed much anyway this Summer. I'm confident we'll get another 2/3 players in before the PL starts.
De Jong could be one of them even according to reports...

He hates ETH
The window started very positively but rumours are starting to slow and it seems we have to sell or buy.
This isn’t news to us, we knew it going into the window, and the assets of value we have are few and far between given the salaries and quality.

given that Tuchel & Pochettino in their last 2 jobs each were sacked in under a season they will more than likely be available next summer, Zidane hasnt managed since 2021 and shows no signs of getting back into it.

Yes.
I'm optimistic.
I think ETH is more than capable, I see top 4 and better football to watch.
The main thing I'm looking forward to is the promotion of one or two academy players. And with, Rasmus, Garnacho, Mainoo, Yoro eventually we will have the makings of a young and exciting team.
Perhaps Colliyer, Amass will get games.
As it stands we arguably go into to this season weaker than last season.
----------------
Well in real terms, we should have Shaw and Martinez available and that already makes is stronger than we were last season (I know faith in them staying fit is another matter - Shaw in particular - but as of right now they are).
Would also expect us to sign at least another 3 before the deadline. Disappointing that we haven't got the majority done already but it was always going to be difficult - we're not the only big club to have had a fairly quiet window so far.

Both of those were available at the start of last season.
Depends on the availability of the squad, and the further development of some of the youngsters and return to form of some of the senior players.
Given all these question marks, and the failure to really cull the squad and bring in what’s needed, it’s reasonable to have worries over next season.
But there are reasons to be optimistic as well. Hard at this stage to be certain on either outcome.
I will reserve judgement on the season as a whole until the window is closed and we see where we stand, but I am very worried about the start of the season. We have a tricky first few games in the league and as the OP says we look weaker than last year. A lot of our likely first 11 havnt played a preseason game due to Euros so won’t be anywhere near ready, and even if new signings come in it will take time to get up to speed and we could already have lost a few games before then.

ETH had to be sacked last season, now he will most likely will be sacked by Christmas but getting rid of Anthony, Onana, malacia, Casemiro plus the two new signings plus the two potential new signings from Byern just got harder. Bayern by the way have done a fantastic business getting rid of these dross to us.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean it makes all the rest of your opinions dubious
The transfer window is still open for four weeks yet, and the club is clearly working on multiple deals.
It seems like we need to get some outbound work done to free up squad places and help pay/balance the books for incomings, so we might see a fair bit of action close to deadline day.
I think we’re still likely to see a couple of defenders and a midfielder come in.
I genuinely think we could finish as high as second, but it'll be another false dawn under this clown.
I expect more Ole-ball with some decent footie mixed in, but ultimately no real philosophy/style of play or progress come 12 months time.
Ten Hag out. Now.
Having Martinez and Shaw will be a huge boost to how we can play. Hopefully now with the manager staying the players can’t act like a bunch of pr-cks and actually play for the team.
I’m sure we’ll still buy a couple more players this window.
Still huge question marks over EtH but I’m hopeful he at least gets a squad that isn’t decimated by injury this season to show what he wants to do.
If Cas goes we’ll need a decent dm. Mainoo isn’t up to that. Hopefully get the Uruguayan fella in as cm partner
