I thought CHelsea had financial constraints? How come they are spending half a billion?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because all the clubs who'd got themselves into financial trouble helped each other out with ridiculous deals which were barely within the rules.

They've sold academy players for profit and replaced with players with their fees amortised over 5 years.
The difficulty with that is that the the sale revenue counts in 1 year while the fees are on the books every year.
So they have to keep doing rhe same thing each season or increase revenue significantly (UCL) to offset the spending
My question is, isn’t there a limit on the players you can send on loan now? Surely with PL squad cap, and the fact u can only play a certain amount of players over 23, how do Chelsea get around this?
Is there gonna be a max exodus of players they’ve tired of now?
I can picture Todd sitting in his office scratching his head and wondering why this soccer stuff doesn’t work, when he keeps spending the most 😂😂😂
Sold their own hotel to themselves and got round ffp
So very predictable
Nobody has confirmed that the hotel transaction worked.
We can all probably see it has.
Just like Yanited with their two mystery sums the only club to benefit in the premier league. Let off twice.Very strange.
Everton and Forest should be fuming at another example of elitism with Chelsea.

Money will always win
FFP has changed nothing. Chelsea have spent another £200 million this summer. They will again next.
Man City will win most of the trophies, the rest will scramble to qualify for the money in the champions league
It does start to get tedious
If levy banked on ffp changing spurs title hopes, he must be hugely disappointed

We know Levy has banked on it.
There is no excuse when we have the advantage of PSR and financial fair play that we have no utlilised it.
Chelsea and Yanited have been helped by the Premier League yet no transparency with it.
Forest were not allowed to include certain bonuses yet other clubs were allowed to includ the same bonus.
