Template for away sides at Elland Road. Make sure you test the keeper.

Agree. Meslier, for me, isn't good enough.

Its happened too many times now. Meslier does make some stunning saves but we are so often hearing "Meslier shoud have done better there"
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I see him with such a negative aura unfortunately. 4 of his 5 season's have been abject failure, 2 bottled promotions, almost relegated and relegated. He played his part in all of those. Imo, could have done with a fresh face in there.

Well this is going well!

Same old soft underbelly - so so frustrating

It just shows how fragile the confidence in footballers can be cuz now Leeds look shell shocked and Pompey flying.

I was really hoping that Marseilles link to him was true...

Gnonto been useless

Oh well this time last season we were 2 nil down at h.t. to Cardif so 1-2 we may just nick this in the 2nd half. Bizarre,crazy...Leeds.

Why don't we have a blast at goal instead of trying to walk it in all the time!

I hope Meslier can lift his perfomances but it's happening too many times now and amazing that thew club have not been analytical enough to see it.. A real momentum crusher to let them back in like that and in that manner and it spurred them on for a second. Need to dig ourselves out of this hole.

Carbon copy of games last season. Cannot break down a resolute defence, corner after corner etc. Concede from the only efforts on target.

Rutter playing like his first season! Gnonto quiet. Midfield overrun.

Great start but once we went a goal up they came out and played better.

Need a good second half.

After first 10 minutes it's business as usual..... going to be a difficult season

I know Struiyk is the captain but him alongside Rodon doesn't seem to be as good a fit as Ampedu and Rodon.
However until we imploded we should have been at least 3 goals up so clearly things were working very well but sloppiness, poor concentration, nerves I'm not sure how we are losing this game.

Rutter is unplayable. Gem.

Not today he isn’t! Last week he was. Portsmouth have done their homework.

First goal was down to Bogle and Ampadu mix up, second goal was a worldly. Mes could do nothing about either goal.

I said to my mate before the game that Bamford would come in to score the winner!

We might just need him to do that!

Meslier must have thought he was playing dodgeball for the first.

We should still win this game if we just cut out the silly lapses of concentration but talk about making it harder than it should be. Certainly plenty of room for improvement and maybe an Aaronson 2nd half substitute star performance may be the story for this
match and a contributing factor to the American lads
own redemption. I hope so.

The problem is that we get lots of chances against teams like Portsmouth, but we don’t take them. Portsmouth know that they will only get two or three chances in a game, so they have to make the most of them. Farke needs to lose this arrogant ‘we don’t want to humiliate them’ attitude, and instil some fir in this team, right now.

Meslier could do nothing about that last goal - are you sure aboit that? It went through his hands!
