Think he's worth £9.5m?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really TBH, but he'll hopefully carry on scoring "derby" winners, which are priceless.

Are you in charge of Rangers construction procurement?

£8.5m and yes. In the grand scheme of things he was our top target so imagine missing out on him over say £2-3m which was likely our valuation.

Secondly we’ve had so many duds in the £2-3.5m bracket that we’ve been saying for years, “why not 2 or maybe 3 good players at around £6m or so. The fact we’ve been using the same valuations for those years suggests we have been way out of touch with realistic figures and instead are stuck with the ones in our heads.

Then there’s the cost of attracting more players to Scotland to be factored in. Our CL performances are more likely to decrease a players value than increase it.

Lastly, we know what we are getting and know he will hit the ground running once he’s fully match fit.

I think he's already paid that fee back mate. He won us the league and the cup. He's still young and he's got it all, speed, strength, great in the air and on the deck and he can hold it up and link well with others, great finisher too.

I know it's very early yet, but his aerial prowess reminds me of Sutton

See Rodgers has waded in on the ticket row

While I agree with him to an extent, to say the whole debacle is a Rangers thing, for me, that's a bit strong

We started the stupidness aye, and the carry on at Ibrox just now is obviously causing further issues......but in the past we have offered ticket allocations for Ibrox and they have been refused, and that's where all this safety stuff came from, so both clubs have certainly contributed to this dragging on far longer than it has needed to

YOUS STARTED IT!

Undoubtedly.

Sadly for Rangers, they continually give us open doors to walk right into and rub their noses in it.

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve never witnessed such a low between the clubs in terms of mutual respect.

When you hear supporters from both sides demanding that the opposition never ever set foot in the others stadium again, it’s depressive.

It is where we are however, and probably goes back to us being blamed for leading the line in Rangers going down the leagues.

Anyways; pre dinner drinks to be scoffed. Offski.

It's ruining what was (is) one of the best derby matches in the world.

I just want them both to sort it out. Give the away support 8000 tickets and get the atmosphere back.

I saw Phil's presser where he talks about the Man Utd team of 1999... 👀

It'll be some season for the Rangers.

Mind that guy that spoke about dugs n' caravans..?

He's some boy right enough - a JA institution.

Casual tourist to JA reads his regular assaults on the Celtic board.

Then the merciless taunting of all things Rangers.

'Say Bud which soccer team is it you are rooting for?'

I'd be devastated if the guy chucked it on here.
