It's not approved yet...can argue the case about formalities etc all you want.....it's not approved yet, and if it's not by the time the game comes round....away fans can't attend can they

Think I've made my point
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No. You haven’t. The whole reason Rangers fans can’t attend CP is because of Rangers failings. There is no mention or otherwise of anything Celtic have done or are doing wrong that puts our home game in jeopardy regarding away fans safety. Absolutely nothing other than in your own imagination and head.

It really is a pathetic stance St3vie. I admire your Uber staunchness and I’m sure you’ll get FF points for deflection.

I’m usually the lone voice defending our board but ffs if they behaved like their counterparts at Ibrox I’d have run out of sharks to throw long ago.

The game you need to have Celtic Park ready for is in two weeks

Where's the mentions or otherwise that we can't have Ibrox ready, have the new safety measures in place and just have a building warrant sitting at pending come new year...where the mention that this is unachievable?

The points been made

Uber staunchness.....called reality

Rangers have made a clusterfck of getting Ibrox ready so far but there is nothing that 100% confirms the old firm at Ibrox can't be held with all the required after measures in place....nothing

For whatever reason, Celtic still have a building warrant sitting at pending for the netting they need to have installed to meet the terms of the agreement....whether that's down to GCC, Cleric themselves or whatever....that is the situation whether you like it or not

Fck all "staunch" about pointing out these simple facts

posted on 15/8/24

Celtic’s initial application was made in February for the building work needing done. That took 3 months for approval.

We’re in mid August, and rangers haven’t made any application yet for the building work.

But aye, you hang your hat on a warrant that you’ve ’no doubt’ will be granted as being the reason.

You’re not a bot, but you’re not genuine either.

Hang on. Who says it’s not approved? Using your logic maybe sign off has been given and the files need updating. Typical bloody civil servants eh?

Rangers could not give assurances on their own ground. ffs, nobody knows when Ibrox will be ready do they? That’s what has enabled Celtic to call in the agreement clause of repricosity in (sp). No argument from Rangers.

You’re not making any points at all.

Right. Someone else’s turn to “chat” with St3vie as I’m tired now

It wasn't me that was putting forward the argument that having a warrant sitting at pending wouldn't be an issue coz the chances of it failing were extremely slim

If it takes 3 months to get approval....the new year game is 3 and a half months away

I'm not hanging my hat on any reasons...just pointing out the facts and you are foaming at the mooth at the thought that something related to Celtic Park not being ready might actually have a hand in why these ticket allocations are not being given

You also came out with some pi$h about the warrant still sitting at pending coz you've got a game at the weekend and the nets couldn't go up until after it so away ye go POV

posted on 15/8/24

Only person foaming at anything is you, mate. Everyone else that’s engaged with you has been perfectly calm, reasonable and logical. You’re firing spurious reasons as to why this might not be to do with rangers, defying your own logic at the same time.

There’s loads of reasons why that warrant status hasn’t been issued-none of them are to do with Celtic though, and there’s no reason for it being held up. After this weekend when we initially would have needed to sort out any nets, you know that status would change. It’s not needed now though as by your own admission, timescales for rangers getting their own issues sorted are too tight for them to guarantee it.

Froth away, my good friend.

Do I care?

Your still spouting utter garbage

There is absolutely nothing stopping you putting the netting in place, the question is over whether you can use it while a game is on

The fact that ticket allocations for the September game are being decided now is the issue ...Celtic may not have got the assurances they wanted for the January game, that may well be the case....but if Celtic are sitting with a building warrant pending, and cannot give assurances that it will be approved in time for the netting to be approved....it's the same fcking thing my friend...and whether that's Celtics fault, GCCs fault, the bloody face painter we didnt pays fault.....I do not give a $hit....it's not in anyway "spurious" to say it could also have been a factor in the decision making

Nick Knowles the presenter/builder guy.

A building obsessed snorefest.

Your him but also a dhick.

So Dhick Knowles but you've repelled the insult by making me explain it, i think you knew who he was.

Don’t think I’ve ever called anyone a Dhick on here btw. Good to see you’ve added in the classic go to “h” just to enhance it. Some work

To be fair when he was at school they were still teaching in Latin

I admit my school also taught in when I wa sin 1st and 2nd year. I chose it for Standard Grade but the one remaining Latin teacher retired that year!
