So Celtic don't still have a building warrant pending?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve already clearly explained this
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You've explained what the grounds are for approval etc......that's it
I have no doubts that Celtic building warrant for the netting will be approved....but that's not the point though is it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You obviously haven’t read my much earlier post on building warrant approval process. I don’t blame you is this has been going round and round for way too long now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I'm sitting listening to all sorts ofud being flung at our board around the fact that no planning applications or building warrants have been applied for
If it's simply the case that all this can be done, it's pretty certain that it will be approved, and it can be left at pending by the time the game comes around at Ibrox, then wtf is the issue??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The issue is Rangers can’t even categorically confirm they will be back at Ibrox themselves and the lack of any start on the process gives the only remaining conclusion that the work won’t be completed in time. And they certainly won’t pay for it at Hampden for one game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So again....we conveniently skip over the fact that Celtic don't have an approved building warrant for measures they need to have in place for the game in two weeks

How many more years do we need to qualify for Europa league to eventually bridge the financial gap to Celtic?
If we were to win the league should we inform the SPFL that we dont want that CL spot? gotta think of the financial long term game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The CL money would be crucial surely? Better player sales will help but unless you get 3 or 4 mega beneficial transfers, that I’d think would take some considerable time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we gotta bridge that financial gap and some on here would have you think the europa league riches are the way to do that whilst celtic pick up the pennies in the CL......

It's a pretty simple question Ginger
See if that building warrant isn't approved by the time the game comes round at the start of September.....should the game go ahead with away fans in attendance and the netting in place?

Rangers are gubbed is the long and short of it.
This season is an absolute no contest domestically. I am not saying that to be melodramatic. I will happily say Rangers are in with a shout if I think they are.
At the moment with guys like an ageing Tavs, Souttar, Davies, Wright, Dessers, Lawrence, Matondo etc all being regularly relied on then we are absolutely miles off it.
We need ~ 5 nailed on first team starters as a minimum who are 2 or 3 levels above what we currently have to make us close to being competitive. Then we need to improve the quality of the squad players by upgrading the guys I mentioned above - because the reality is that s all those guys are. Sub standard squad fillers.
Connor Barron is genuinely our best player right now.

Big difference between expecting approval and actually having it...so I'll ask again, if it IS NOT YET approved, should the netting be used? Would all parties be happy for it to be used?

I did answer-I pointed out where you said you had no doubt it would be approved.
I don’t think understanding English is your best subject.
You didn’t say it should be approved, or it might be approved-you said you had no doubt it would be approved. That removes any hypothetical situation you want to create.

There.
But as I’ve fully explained the Building Warranty process and you can actually see the works completed; you will of course fully understand that this will be a formality. It’ll be signed off on Health and Safety criteria. The actual building works are completed.

were not gubbed, if we are in a position where CL isnt required to turn a profit then we can then start growing properly. We need stability within the management team, chopping and changing all the time costs so much more money, changing the balance of the squad not being committed to a long term plan.
Barron is not our best player IMO. Diomande is a level above him IMO. If you think that is gonna be a one transfer or even two transfer window fix your deluded, we need a season with Clement to stabilise the squad and give us a balanced squad to build on.
Any challenge we can muster this season will be a bonus, with us being hamstrung just now financially its almost impossible to bridge that gap in under a season.
Finally...ffs
I know it's a formality, but if it's not signed off, it's a stumbling block regards the away ticket allocation being given
It's also a get out of jail free card for our board if they are dragging their heels of course....but again, this is the point I've been trying to make all along, we don't know exactly what the grounds are behind this decision, could be a combination of them all, likely is

Again, skipping the issue
Big difference between expecting approval and actually having it...so I'll ask again, if it IS NOT YET approved, should the netting be used? Would all parties be happy for it to be used?
Answer the fcking question
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did answer-I pointed out where you said you had no doubt it would be approved.
I don’t think understanding English is your best subject.
You didn’t say it should be approved, or it might be approved-you said you had no doubt it would be approved. That removes any hypothetical situation you want to create.

It's a pretty simple question Ginger
See if that building warrant isn't approved by the time the game comes round at the start of September.....should the game go ahead with away fans in attendance and the netting in place?
Jesus wept
Think I will if I ever get an answer to this like
----------------------------------------------------------------------
St3vie. If it’s not approved then no, the away fans can’t attend
There.
But as I’ve fully explained the Building Warranty process and you can actually see the works completed; you will of course fully understand that this will be a formality. It’ll be signed off on Health and Safety criteria. The actual building works are completed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rangers are gubbed is the long and short of it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
were not gubbed, if we are in a position where CL isnt required to turn a profit then we can then start growing properly.

I know it's a formality, but if it's not signed off, it's a stumbling block regards the away ticket allocation being given
It's also a get out of jail free card for our board if they are dragging their heels of course....but again, this is the point I've been trying to make all along, we don't know exactly what the grounds are behind this decision, could be a combination of them all, likely is

we gotta bridge that financial gap and some on here would have you think the europa league riches are the way to do that whilst celtic pick up the pennies in the CL......

Talk about quantum leaps
We all know the reason. The ground will not be ready by the New Year game.
Talking of which, when’s the next update statement?

The required works to date are up to the required standard and the issue of approval is a mere formality.
