When Yoro is back it will give Eth a selection headache having to choose a CB pair! Will it be Licha plus one Yoro or De Ligt or De Ligt and Yoro with Licha on LB duty?!

Slab had a good game tonight, maybe being fully aware his days being numbered gave him the required motivation to lift his game. Could he make a late bid to salvage his Utd career? He has to be shifted simply for the ridiculous contract he's on.

Well, sometimes…..

Thought there was a lot of positives tonight. Much more compact from back to front, the pressing was often pretty decent - Fulham managed to get out a few times but were successfully forced to play long on a number of occasions.

Casemiro was excellent, Mount's a press-machine (now just needs to add the output he shown he's capable of at Chelsea), Mazraoui was very good I thought and most other players put in a solid display (Maguire, Martinez, Mainoo, Amad).

Thought Rashford was lucky to stay on the pitch really and Amad a little unlucky to be the one to come off. Nice to see two players off the bench get the assist and goal (even though Garnacho was having a stinker otherwise).

We do really need another proper CM to come in. Mainoo is still a kid who would benefit from having fresh legs ready to come on in his place later in games as well as rotate with him so that he isn't overplayed. Also need a LB as we're now very reliant on Maz & Dalot staying fit before having a big problem at FB again.

3 points, clean sheet and some visible improvements from what we saw in the same fixture last season... Will take that!

Hmm, cos Yoro is a young lad, whose been heavily injured… he won’t really make an appearance til next year, providing the others stay fit.
Can’t Mazza play at LB? Put Dalot back,on the right side. Lissy and DeLigt CB pair.., think that’s the four we gonna see right now methinks…

That means we can’t play as high as we want to… so I think more tight games to come, except for the ones that feel confident to come at us, which works in our favour anyway.,

The way Mazraoui played RB, that position will remain his. Dalot needs to up his game to oust the Moroccan. Mazraoui can play LB but has only played this a handful of times, if that, same with Licha. I don't rate Dalot down the left, tonight was a classic example he's simply not good enough there. Maybe give Amass a run.
