We are literally a few non-appearances to writing this same article for Amad
--------------
I mean this kind of proves the point - Amad is now literally in the team at Antony's expense. Pellistri isn't because he is not very good. Its really that simple.
Antony isn’t good enough, but I’m hopeful he’ll be able to produce a bit more if he can link up with Zirkzee and Mazraoui. He was so bad last season that it shouldn’t be hard for him to improve on it.
Maybe more importantly, it might suit us best to sell Antony first before Pellestri.
-----------------------
And what if we struggle to find takers for Antony btw (which clearly is going to the case)? Should we keep Pellistri around for the remainder of Antony's contract because of your weird sense of injustice about the situation?
From what I remember Amad was far more highly rated than Pellistri ever was hence why we paid nearly three times as much on him. Add to that he had a very promising loan spell at Sunderland and EtH has spoken much more about him and seems to rate him far more.

Tomatoes, you assume that because you haven't seen enough, no one else (including a group of professionals at the top of their industry, who have the benefit of incomparably more observation than we get) could have formed reasonable conclusions about the player. Why is this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because we keep on making the same mistakes over and over and over somehow expecting something different. We are literally a few non-appearances to writing this same article for Amad. You would have justified this "professional" decision too. I'll like to see it. For every chance that has been given to Antony (which can be defended based on the sheer amount we have spent on him), I will always want a tenth of the opportunity be given to every player we actually thought had potential to bring in. Our record has not been close enough from any of these professionals to not do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've always thought Amad is vastly superior to Pellistri. Far more skillful. A burst of acceleration that Pellistri lacks. Vision. Unpredictability. I don't know whether he'll make it at United, but I've been eager to see him get chances, which he is now getting (at the expense of Antony).

Injustice? How about a lack of common logic. We are in the third year of Antony, a 25 million player who because of the combined idiocy of 2 professionals bought him for 3 times the amount. he has played almost 60 games, confirmed he is not 10 million player but the stupidity must be justified because at least 1 of the said idiot is still here. 13 total appearances in 5 years for Pellestri.
Btw the reason we wont find any takers for Antony is reason why we should be working to get rid of him. His wages are not getting lesser nor his ability to contribute to any team going to improve (at least he can be said to not have been given a chance like Pellestri )

He doesn’t deserve more chances or more opportunities than Antony who came having played for a big European side and performed well in the CL.
************************************
Never said he deserved more chances. In fact I said he deserve a tenth of the chance he got based solely on the money spent. You all seem so obstinate about that as an idea. Daniel James was a flyer who got his chance and was shown to be incapable. This is normal procedure many people think Pellestri didn't deserve.

And what does any of those have to with anything anyone has said? Do you think anyone is arguing that Antony is a good player? He isn't, he is just better than Pellistri - that is precisely why Pellistri has barely played for us and is now going to get sold for peanuts.
I remember you having a similar sissy fit when we sold Zidane Iqbal, who unsurprisingly has done nothing since. You'd be wise to trust that player who aren't playing, aren't playing for a reason - and it isnt because top class coaches are completely blind or have some kind of vendetta against them.
If only we had a transfer policy like Chelsea. Shiiiite like Pellistri would definitely get more opportunities to show they’re shiiiiit before being sold.
