I really don't think that there is much between Antony and Pellistri. The latter actually has a better goal involvements per minutes ratio for us. And he does pretty well for his National team as well - 8 assists and 2 goals.
I'd have liked to have seen him given more chances last season to see what he could do. Looks like it won't be happening now though. At least Amad finally got a chance.

If only we had a transfer policy like Chelsea. Shiiiite like Pellistri would definitely get more opportunities to show they’re shiiiiit before being sold.

What goalposts? I liked the idea of buying cheaper but obviously talented players over big name signings who almost never match their prices. We are Kind of doing it now (Not signing Braithwaite was like quitting hard drugs with our recent record tbh).
Now Chelsea are mental obviously but at least they have a player in every position (we still don't have a leftback after selling all the young left backs we had without trying them out)

What about Rodgers and the three envelopes?
"In these three envelopes are the names of the people who I think will let us down this season. Make sure your name is not one of the three if they get opened."
Rodgers did eventually open the first of the envelopes in front of the players, and to his surprise he found a P45 with his name on it.
