As long as we keep pairing him with Mainoo and Mount if may work but I am still doubtful. I don't want that drop off which I feel is inevitable.

Mctom leaving is sad but he has obvious weaknesses. For 30 million it is an absolute godsend.

Not sure, I’d have being trying to get rid of Sancho before him. He’d arguably fetch more money and is fracking useless

Ugarte the destroyer is the main target. Berge would be someone in-between, younger with a sell on value - worth the punt for now until we can upgrade next summer, he'll then provide the required competition within the squad.

We wouldn’t have reached this point in negotiations unless both United and McT were happy for them to proceed. It’ll just be getting the fee agreed.

Strongly suspect this will happen now, and should be a good move for all parties involved.

I do think he'll go.

It's not his fault but he just isn't good enough for where we want to be.

He'll leave with my best wishes though and I hope he'll do well wherever he ends up.

Tbf he’s got some team mates who are equally as good at that

McT has now had seven seasons, best it is that long, since he came into the team.

I still can not give you one midfield skill that he is good at.

£30m would be a decent deal for all parties.
