Definitely start with Deki over BJ.

obviously not that formation but Gray at least providing cover for both full backs, Maddison and Bergvall comfortable taking ball from the back, Kulusevski offering more creativity to the forward line, Son feeding off Solanke hold up play

only one game in lets see how Everton goes, he wont change that much but think Gray and Kulu will come in for Bentancur and BJ

Not sure about lots of positives cause it reminded me quite a bit of last season with the struggling to create real meaningful chances and the inability to keep a clean sheet. That poor defending for the goal was a big red flag.

Main positives were young subs and Maddison's performance.

Maybe he does not need to start but Odobert has to be the first sub for our wings. Kulu and Son can start and if either or neither are working then I want to see Odobert getting off the bench more than BJ or Werner.

Will Porro be fit? Didn't look good yday..

Think Ange will be forced to make changes anyway because of him and Bents

Last season we lost 25 points from winning positions. I was annoyed but prepared to accept it as it was Ange first season, not his players, more exciting style of footie.....etc!

However he's had long enough to get the picture now and he needs to sort out our game management. Opponents know that if they can stay within a goal of us they will get chances and this has to stop.

It's gonna be a long season with many games and we need to be able to win 1-0 where necessary.

agreed about the missed chances...... Bergvall looks a proper player, We know Gray is gonna be good at this level and Madders was great for an hour. Would really like to see Bergvall & Madders in the same team but not sure how we make that work.

Sometimes wish we could just go back to an old school 442

Strength in the middle of the park, FBs provide the width and let the others all play off a central sriker when we have the ball

How long have they banished Bissouma for?

Would he have made a difference last night?

Maybe Bissouma/ Bents is better than Bents/ Sarr.

1 game "club suspension" anything beyond that is down to Ange..... who knows about last night...he hasn't played well in about 8 months

Everton will park the bus and bombard us aerially.

Any free kick 15 yards inside their half will be an attacking opportunity

I thought our main problem last night was the way we reverted to type when Leicester scored. Until then, we seemed to be getting plenty of crosses in, but we then reverted to trying to walk the ball into the net through a crowded defence inside the penalty area.

The only something different I'd try based on yesterday's game is Moore instead of Werner at backup RW

Couldnt do any worse..... Werner is such a pointless signing when Eze was there to be had early in the window (before they sold Olise) and you have Moore as back option. I would rather see Oderbert gets minutes ahead of Werner (such a crap footballer)

Bergvall is very exciting. Has that sort of effortless natural ability on the ball like Dembele and Modric had. He'd be a good outside shout for our player of the season.

Maybe he can start against Everton? As for trying something different in this game...hmmm how about winning? That would be different.

think Odobert is there as cover on both wings. Ange still might use Werner instead though, will never stop annoying me we go him again on loan for another year
