I agree Jonty, there is some real talent that has come from L1, Peterborough seem to be really good with unearthing talent and selling it on . Definitely worth a look.
Chelsea have already filled their allocation of seven loans to other clubs so if we could afford we would need to buy from them. They need to sell desperately but not in a million years.
Was just having a quick look there are no other clubs in the same boat as far as I can see but as the window progresses, things will change and the amount of loan slots will get fewer. Teams will want to develop their prospects so will send them out on loan.
Worth having a look. Southampton signed Ronnie Edwards in the summer. Highly rated centre back.
Farke doesn’t like loans so hopefully we will stay away from too many. Anthony might be one coming back and I’d welcome him. Seemed to make a bit of a difference when he came on.
Maybe Everton will loan us Harrison 🤣🤣🤣
Things look bad at the moment but I’m sure those behind the scenes are working hard at getting the right players in. I think Rutter going so late in his contact clause has thrown them a little to say the least.
I keep refreshing X in the hope we are actually in for someone.

they had 2 previous owners, they'd be really stupid to assume he was staying, plus the clause they put in was to give them time to find a replacement.
This mess is all of their own making.
I agree about looking at L1 talent. We used to.
Sheff U signed Harrison Burrows. Very good left back.
Peterbrough's captain and L1 POTY.
They also loaned Archie Gilchrist, Harry Souttar,
and Rak-Sakyi from Prem. They also did well in the
frees. And they signed Kiefer Moore.
They also signed Plymouth's highly rated young
keeper Cooper. We've had a fire sale.
They've shown us how it's done.
People seem to be pinning their hopes on Anthony coming back, did he add much last year, my impression is of a player who struggled to get minutes and whilst that was largely because of position I didn't think we had a player who was better than what we had but positionally wise he was up against tough opposition.
However, I note he was on the bench at the weekend which might indicate he is more in the plans at Bournemouth.

Agree, feel hes just a amazing up the numbers type signing.
If the answer is Anthony, what was the question?
Holy crap we look lost. We'll be lucky to get top half.
Morale amongst the lads who signed on to the project
must be in the dirt. Add in what I just read in VOF's
post and I think we're close to mailing it kn this season.
Need to throw the kitchen sink at it now, probably going to have to over pay.
Dont see how we can gamble on league one players coming good within one season.
Need quality, should have a huge warchest, should just financially bully our way out of the division.
Loads of good players home and abroad.
Dont see how we can gamble on league one players coming good within one season.

I think we can afford one or two punts from lower league.
If we took a punt on one player that be a start.
There must be a left back in League one who is worth taking a punt on.

Dont disagree, get some for the squad, they might even force themselves into the team.
But time for building is now over.
Money just needs to be thrown at it now, Cant afford not to go up.

Harrison Burrows. Sheff U signed him.
We don't do left backs.
I watched the Bolton v Wrexham game at the weekend and there were plenty of players on display that could easily step up to the next level and not look out of place in a top 6 Championship side which at this rate we'll be lucky to be one of.
We were linked to Jordan James from Birmingham but looks like he moved to France.

Isn't there also a lot of factors not working in our favour that will further inflate things for us and make matters worse.
Firstly the fact that we have made a lot of sales and therefore are known allegedly to be cash rich.
Secondly that we are known to have a small squad so need to increase squad size.
Thirdly the time to the end of the window is very short so clubs know we cannot afford to take our time.
Fourthly we have well publicised weak areas such as left back.
I think all of these factors and more are going to ramp up the price of players with clubs knowingly playing hard ball.
3 Prem loanees would walk into this team.
Norwich already replaced Rowe.
Tick fcking tock.
I seriously think fans will completely lose their schittt if rumours that we are about to sign the Rangers winger is true. Rangers fans are peeing themselves laughing at how utter schyyyte a player we could be potentially signing and at a rumoured £3 million we are paying £2.5 million too much. It just gets crazier and crazier.... Please someone make it stop.
We're starting to look very arrogant as a club.
I keep reading 'only signing better than we have'
we have fck all right now to better. A warm body
improves us.
I also keep reading 'Leeds are looking to the Prem'
well that clearly isn't working. Time to adjust your
field of vision.
If the morale is as low as reported, we'll get beat
by Sheff Wed.
And now Hannibal from Man U is the latest click bait rumour.... Who next? Genghis Khan from Bradford????

Ah Harrison Burrows, I remember us allegedly being in for him at the beginning of the window. Young player, looks good, high ceiling, one for the future, then the club baulked at the asking price, £3.5m you say.
