Gnonto

Around Leeds nobody should know better what happens when you have a player that wants out, we've had more than our fair share of them!..

He turned against the club last season and was lucky to get another chance, how many chances should any player have?..

Can’t let Gnonto go. January onwards when he got back in the team he was very good and scored important goals. I’m sure he wants to leave as he did last year and other stars have.

Long term, I’m happy for him to go but for this season he has to stay. If he gets his head down, he could get 20 goals and get a big move like Summerville did. You could argue he would already have got that if he didn’t take half a season to sort himself out last year, he’s a better player in my opinion.

I really like and rate Gnonto. Hope we do hang on to him. We seem to be getting a move on now re signings.
Willy G alongside some new blood could be great.

New signings could be great for team and fan morale.

Batty - re:signings, what else have you heard? (other than Largie).

Big ones doing the round are Soloman from Spurs.
Hasn't had much game time and I think he's had a few
injuries to deal with. Fit now. I saw him play a couple
of games for Spurs and he seemed good. In the Poch
team I think? He's right sided winger. He could be useful.

Other one is Roland Sallai. Hungarian international
who plays for Freiburg. Right wing or a 10 are his
positions. That same Journo saying this.

Maybe one of these two plus Ljubicic are in soon?
At least we're seeing movement now. And as long
as Farke's happy with these players, great.

I’m sure that Solomon scored against us for Fulham?

All the above comments are justified but truthfully if I had the final say on whether he stays or is sold I'd definitely insist he stays as he's that extra bit of magic a side needs to sway a match....unfortunately it's all hyperthetical because he seems destined to leave before Sept 1st.

Won't happen

I hope so Sal' as it would feel almost like a new signing.

Hopefully it won't happen. But it could.

His Azzuri career has stalled, and it's important to him. For this alone I think he may go.

Most player who want away usually achieve it the obvious way. Performance and attitude affects team cohesion and the players agent usually has a client in mind ready for his commission. I forget the name of a player in 1990 -2000s whose agent was his brother and they worked the system to the full ( with commissions)

You thinking of Kewell and Bernie and Nick Mandic with Kewell's move to Liverpool?

It bothered me all day trying to remember his name. Then my old brain threw out Anelka this afternoon. Good job name began with A . I was going to work through the alphabet. 13 moves in19 yrs some big clubs from 1996 to 2014. Look him up on Wikipedia.
