I think Burnley will have a thing to say about that - but your right - with a few signings I think we need to put some daylight between us and third spot come Christmas

100 Points, champions, Undefeated

Fck it. Why not. We looked very good tonight.
Only way to ar$e this up is lack of players in.

DF in after match interview pretty much promised new signings coming in the next few days so at least 2 new players but whether that will be negated by more player exits we shall see.

Df said inbounds definite, they need to be quality and enough of them, bench was threadbare.

Solomon coming by looks.

Had a difficult couple of years off pitch, played in ukraine, but good talent

Like him.

We both slated Farke. I think we both need
to give him credit for handling this we very
well. Hopefully, we get 3 or 4 more players
that he will rotate. And like you say:

Fcking Champions

Max Aarons rumoured to be on his way to Leeds too after just missing out on him last season.

Also as I posted on the mdt there's a couple of very tasty exciting Eurooean forward/midfielder players we are linked with so I suppose we'll just have to wait and see but how quickly the mood can change eh!

I'm interested in this Hungarian lad, Roland Sallia(?)
Reports and scouting about him say he's a talent.
And could play the 10 role. I still think we get Ljbucic
in addition.

Sallai looks really good. Sort of player we need

posted on 23/8/24

Looks like we won't get sallai now
Solomon could be a sleeper.

Our bench is getting stronger. Hope Willie stays.

We looked great tonight.

I think with losing two key players and the lack of incomings, we forgot two things - 1. How good players are who are still here 2. How bad some other teams are. Sheff Wed were awful.

Solomon on paper looks a good signing. Rodon was one who had barely played for 4 years but in this league was class

Apparently he is in addition to the 4 that was stated we need. It looks like one more forward is going out. Hoping it's Gelhardt who needs to for the sake of his career rather than Gnonto.

Sallai a better player and also doesn't come with the caveat of advocating mass child murder. Would have preferred him.

For me sport should be a unifying thing not diversary. and sports people in my humble opinion should not get involved politically however hard that may be and certainly no one, unless they are a psychopath advocates innocent children being killed and I have not
got any reason to believe Solomon has actually said
such a horrific thing or believes that and so that being the case, he is perfectly welcome in my eyes......Paul McCartney's Pipes of Peace springs to mind, WW1 Christmas day..

I mean you can think he hasn't if you want but that doesn't change that he actually has. I don't believe your opinion on the senseless violence directed towards innocents has anything to do with politics, but everything to do with humanity.

Spot on.

Lubo pal in all honesty until we were linked with Solomon I knew very little about him and what you say he has said and I questioned I have absolutely no knowledge of and my reference to politics is because well unfortunately I think it is the mostly repugnant narcissistic politicians in high positions of power that stir all these conflicts up sat in their ivory towers and exploit them to the enth degree for their own mostly ruthless, power crazed greedy agenders creating the division amongst nations, races and religions.

That old chestnut the first casualty of war is the truth is so apt and sadly all the innocent victims are just seen as
collateral damage and the humanity angle as you correctly refer ranks very low down in these countries
leaders minds so when I hear celebrities/sports people put their twopenneth in as you say Solomon has, I do not
agree with it and actually wonder whether they have
been leaned on or blackmailed to do so.

After saying all this if Solomon does join us on loan and
just does his talking on the pitch, I will accept him but if
he does keep using his very privileged public platform to
spout what you say he has previously then I will not be happy about that at all but for the time being I'll cross
that bridge if and when we get to it.

That's how I feel about it all and sincerrly wish there
were no effing wars, but as we all know war and misery
make money and that's why football and other sports
for me are a welcome distraction, whether that's
intentional or not I prefer to watch sport than the
depressing world news and don't even like engaging in this type of debate and try and avoid it like the plague as you can never really reach a satisfactory conclusion and so I'll just leave it their and respectfully agree to disagree at the moment to being okay with Solomon potentially playing for the club we all love.

Can't find anything on Solomon posting anything controversial. What exactly did he say lubo?

Sport and politics should not mix.

If you don't a player at Leeds because he's Jewish, you should support another club.

Let's keep this football forum about football.
