Good win. 3 points. Tougher tests to come. Bents and Solanke to come back soon.
Good start to the bank holiday weekend!
Nice to see a positive article
Good win and nice confidence booster before a tough little run
Easier fixtures but unbeaten so far, which already about half the teams in the league cannot say.
Currently in top four. Main striker to come back into the team. More possible signings to come. Good debut for Odebert....
Lots to be positive about.
Thought you were really good, especially second half.
Some good goals, couple of really good assists and even Bissouma scored. Decent redemption curve for him there.
Odebert looks a good option and thought the subs did well too.
Yeah gotta be happy with that. Much better all round. Would only add that we looked better at set pieces and actually scored from one.. maybe we are doing some training on it.

Didn’t see it - away for weekend.
Glad everyone’s happy! Good win?

Yes...as OP says pretty much dominant display bar back to back corners with plenty of head tennis and miscued clearances.
Last season we conceded an average of about 7 goals per game, this season it's 0.5. Championship form
I think Spurs fans owe Jordan Pickford a few drinks for the goal he gifted them

Goooons owe Watkins a drink for missing an open goal.
Really happy how we played.
Defended pretty well, really limiting their attacks.
Made me laugh to see Everton set up.for an attacking free kick from 20 yards in side their half and we set our defensive line on halfway.
Thought Udogie looked very good, forgotten what a strong unit he is. Bissouma gave it away a couple times but his first game of the season so ill forgive him, plus he scored a belter. Deki also looked good, retained the ball well, dribbled well and set up goal 1 with great feet..
VDVs pace mopping up at the back was pure class. Worried when he went down with that jarred knee. As for that run and assist...awesome
Odobert really shone in the first half.
Taking our chances makes such a difference. It wasnt too dissimilar to Leicester game but shows what happens when you put chances away and take the oppositions tactics away from them.
Kids came on and saw the game out with no dramas
All very pleasing.

Just watched MOTD and Son said afterwards, it's just one game, one win, we cannot celebrate too much, we have to stay humble.

The real test is upon us now with the coming fixtures. Can we reproduce this against the better teams? Will our defence stay strong under the inevitable pressure faced by those teams? How would the game have gone had Pickford not thrown it away and how much was on Everton being rubbish?
Still many questions but it was a good and much needed win nonetheless. I said last season after the poor form that perhaps we just needed to get to a new season to refresh everything and everyone, to get back playing how we did in those first 10 games. Hopefully that's what's happening.

Watkins just isn't the best finisher. He's a good player and will get goals but he has that Sterling level of finishing where he lacks that ruthlessness in front of goal consistently and comes up with ridiculous misses a lot.
