That argument doesn’t really hold up when you look at what he’s brought in to address it. Looks like Slot is willing to wait for the right player rather than buy for the sake of it.

If a manger fails to bring in the right players, it doesn't matter what he does after that he will fail. ETH spent more than 500 mil and he didn't sign a single player that one would say indispensable to the team. Take out Garnacho and Bruno, that team would struggle to finish top half of the table.

Not sure I agree but the plus point for me is Eth is clearing out the players I think are sh!t, so at least me and him agree on who is good enough for the club and who isn't.
Maguire, Onana, Antony, Sancho, Eriksen and Lindleoff next.

Came into a club in a mess, run by idiots, with player unrest to deal with, yes last seasons league campaign was a disaster but he still managed another trophy

Overall play looks better this season, where we might struggle is putting the chances away
