Stavely doesn’t have the money to buy into clubs she’s just facilitating for others to get in.
You are saying Levy has an ego? Of course he does he is roughly worth half a billion by doing what he does, everyone in that position has an ego.
He isn't a winner? How? What do you have to prove that? On the pitch trophy haul isn't the only measure to prove whether or not someone is or isnt the intangible term "Winner"

Not fussed about Saudi/UAE or American owners. You would have to say these two are the most likely new investors.
I don't like the image western media has protrayed of the middle east. They make their money from oil like many Americans have done so in the past. How they choose to rule their countries is up to them. Same goes for America.
Both regions have the death penalty and if we did have American investors, more than likely we be another asset in a portolio of other american franchises.
Not sure that would sit right with me. With a middle east owner, I would hope we are their sole focus is us and us only. Like City or Newcastle. Plus they are richer and don't care about money. FFP and PSR have put a stop to any new owners coming in and buying titles anyway.
Levy wants control because of the hotel, cinema and houses he is planning on building. Until the surrounding area of WHL is built to his spec, he isn't going to sell because each new venture will only increase the total value of THFC and his own share of ENIC.
FFP and PSR have put a stop to any new owners coming in and buying titles anyway.

This is an important point IMO. Yeah we might spend 100m more in a window or two but that's it. If the strategy isn't right we'll just do the same thing with more expensive players. Levy needs to stop being involved with football matter

Levy won`t be haunted by his trophy haul, he`s not a football man, he is a businessman and casual fan.
He will be haunted by the money he wasted on the likes of Ndombele, Lo Celso etc, and haunted by missing out on the gravy train of the CL, he won`t even think about trophies.
Where money & Levy meet, nothing is off the table.
Any kind of deal could happen.
Just stay tuned and stop trying to predict the unpredictable!
Just win a trophy ffs....Its getting ludicrous all these manager and player merry-go-rounds and nothing to show for it...
For once, we look like a well coached side, so hope we don't hear about Ange jumping ships half way through or any other disasters...
The current side is both entertaining and quite an outfit! coys
Ange or not, we have a really high quality group of players.
If you look at how Arsenal have progressed, how they put faith and invested in youth, made slow but steady strides and are now in a position to seriously challenge and reinforce their squad, that's what I see us trying to emulate right now.
The likes of Martinelli Saka Odegard Saliba have all been nurtured and given time. Complementing more established players like Gabriel Xhaka Partey etc and have since added more quality while the bad eggs and sub standard players are moved on. Abu and Holding being sorts that took a season or 2 to move on from.
We have a core of real quality, we have 4 or 5 young players who look like they can go far and a couple academy kids who may have star quality.
What I am seeing now is a squad evolution which epitomises Levys vision. We have spent big money and while some of that is on bigger names, it has been complemented by some really well targeted young prospects.
I am personally excited to see where this group can go over the next three years, they have massive potential and I don't just mean the kids. I love out back 5 for example. It's dynamic aggressive skillful powerful and fast.
I really want to see this group do well and win some stuff. I am prepared to wait a bit because we really should be getting behind them rather than berating them for every dropped point. We're committed now to this squad. It's not gonna change significantly this season and most of these guys will be our mainstay for a few seasons to come. I'm cool with that. I think the management team, Levy included, have done a decent job in compiling this lot.
With all the off field stuff sorted the time for the football stuff to ramp up is now, and I believe we are seeing this. Massive sums spent once again, comfortably stronger than 12 months ago, albeit with more to do.
I don't blame Levy for wanting to oversee some success, it's absolutely natural and kinda contradicts the view that he's in it for the money or just top 4. Whether it's ego or a desire to win or just his own pride, whatever drives him to stay and have control until he sees some success then surely that's better than someone who just wants the highest bid or is focused entirely on the bottom line.

Newcastle are arguably seeing this. Spent big to start with but now hardly stand out in the transfer market, and there are rumours that the Saudis are losing interest what with the F1, Golf, WC2034…. No guarantee of anything if we’re bought out.

Levy has put us in a brilliant position, I'm not questioning that.
We aren't hamstrung like Newcastle who are playing catch up.
But sporting wise he/ENIC are poor compared to what FSG have done who are a good comparison I would say.
Too early to judge INEOS at UTD.

But by the same token look at FSGs predecessors - G&H - almost bankrupt Liverpool. FSG are the anomaly rather than the precedent.
Villa, Newcastle, West Ham - all similar ish size clubs to us and have all been relegated in the last 15 years. Everton constantly on the brink.
I genuinely understand where you’re coming from but, for me a change in ownership is a huge gamble and I don’t think it’s the guarantee of success some people make it out to be.

I don’t really think it is, no. In a team game with so many different factors I think there are lots of different factors that come down to being a winner or not in sports.
Your comment also didn’t limit it to sports only, outside of spurs I’d consider him a ‘winner’ (again a pointless vague phrase that I abhor)

FFP and PSR have put a stop to any new owners coming in and buying titles anyway.
---
This is an important point IMO. Yeah we might spend 100m more in a window or two but that's it. If the strategy isn't right we'll just do the same thing with more expensive players. Levy needs to stop being involved with football matter
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle are arguably seeing this. Spent big to start with but now hardly stand out in the transfer market, and there are rumours that the Saudis are losing interest what with the F1, Golf, WC2034…. No guarantee of anything if we’re bought out.
Personally I’m happy with Levy and where we are as a club. Managers have had plenty to spend over the years to assemble squads worthy of a trophy or two (cue #levyout brigade foaming at the mouth).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Levy has put us in a brilliant position, I'm not questioning that.
We aren't hamstrung like Newcastle who are playing catch up.
But sporting wise he/ENIC are poor compared to what FSG have done who are a good comparison I would say.
Too early to judge INEOS at UTD.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But by the same token look at FSGs predecessors - G&H - almost bankrupt Liverpool.

COYS.

I share your optimism. But I don't have the same faith in Levy as you do 👍🏾

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you seriously saying that being a "winner" in sports is not about trophies?
WTF
So how do you measure success?
You're clearly on the wind up 👍🏾

The Levy fan boys are a f*cking joke.

Yes, that’s about 3 players for clubs serious about winning trophies.
