If they want this number of fixtures and want teams to compete in every competition, there will have to be a compromise

Could they really not have found a different week to play the 3rd round? Just seems an excuse to try and keep big teams apart for another round.....................

Liverpool have drawn so much prem opposition in the domestic cups over the last 8 or so years it feels like the norm.

You have to feel the League Cup is at risk as things are going. Should they try and make it more unique? Have seeded draws so the "small" clubs guarantee a "big" club draw? Should European clubs not take part - surely not good for the competition or clubs wanting a pay day. Should they just combine it with the EFL Trophy and have one competition under that format?

Scrap the absolutely useless pointless horrible non-events that are the September and October international breaks, if you’re increasing the number of clubs fixtures in a season

Scrap the Nations League. Nobody gives a rats about it anyway. Young boys and girls don't dream of one day lifting the famous Nations League trophy.

I wouldn't be overly upset if they scrapped international football as a whole though. 😂

I can see pro and cons for it - it does give another chance of a trophy. People seem to like to slag off the league cup, until your team gets to the semi and suddenly it becomes important to win it!!! Have they got rid of the 2 legged semis? They should be played at a neutral venue, and not Wembley. Don't like the FA cup semis being played at Wembley either.
