Doesn't look like a great player to me and obviously they want him out when you look at his fee. Although at this price it's low risk. Perhaps he finds himself again and continues to develop. Wouldn't imagine it would be difficult to recoup his fee should it not work it.

Wide areas is probably the area we already have too many (albeit not the quality we'd ultimately like). We have a really limited budget so not really an option....... And that is without considering whether he would even want to come to United without massive wages

I'd have been more interested in highjacking this deal, given Brighton's record with signings, he'll be superb.

His fitness record has improved recently and for his track record is worth the risk. It's a far better deal than the Sterling deal.

One of the best players in Europe only a few years ago, just seems a great low risk transfer!

I can't claim to have seen any of his club matches, but I slightly fell in love with Ferdi during the Euros.

I suggested once we should just hijack Brighton's deals, but was unaware their next signing at the time was Milner lol

No doubt this guy will be good and sign for a bigger club for a higher fee.

Lmao. In my defence, it is an unsubstantiated Chiesa deal I'm comparing it with.

Reports now that Sancho is going to go to Juve on loan with obligation to buy. This Chiesa move has probably opened that door. Good for United really.

I wonder if that means we can bring someone else in before the deadline? Toney, Osimhen, AN Other?

There was a few Turkish players that looked good, full of energy and their pressing was relentless. £25m isn't much these days either, especially when he's a versatile player.

I just looked up Locatelli's situation since we're dealing with Juventus. I regret to inform you that his contract runs until 2028 and he appears nicely settled in Turin.

Is he left footed? Does he make overlapping runs? Maybe he can get Rashford kicking

Chiesa is a very good player or at least was previously.

There must be a reason Juve have let him go for so cheap though.

Having said that Liverpool have more quality than most in wide areas so it's a low risk transfer and if it doesn't work out it's not a huge deal.

Seems a lot of money for the Oregano Obertan. We'll see.

Last year of his contract, no intention of renewing and wants out, Juve need to free up squad space and he’s one of their highest earners.

£10m is daylight robbery. On paper ticks all the boxes for a wideman and given the transfer fee it's a punt, if it works great, if not then no Biggie.

Juve are desperate to buy Sancho so let's take them to the cleaners. Another Italian side to mug off!
