Fabio's not gonna figure.
So, if only one Podence or Guedes? The former I think, off the bench a decent sub. Guedes goal was well taken, Podence assist I think.
We currently have 19 foreign players over 21. However, I doubt Fabio or Sasa will be registered in the squad that has to be submitted in early September. But, if we intend to bring in any other foreign player over 21, then there will have to be others released.
I don’t think its clear yet what’s happening with Sa, Sarabia, Guedes, Podence, Traore, Bentley, and will Fabio find someone to play for
It’s a massive 48 hours ahead for our season and for individuals unsure where they’ll be playing
Wolves' Portugal winger Daniel Podence, 28, is close to joining Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League. (Rudy Galetti)
Ramsdale bid not yet dead in the water. Arsenal expected to lower their demands as wolves now seem to be the only club in the race
Changing depending on what rumour you believe. Ramsdale set for Southampton, Johnstone for Wolves
Meupiyou was at Molineux last night pending his signing today
Andre arriving tomorrow for his medical. €22m plus €3m add ons

Dead now, about to sign for Southampton
Think Podence is most likely to leave. But it may be a few days after the window closes here as Saudi doesn't close for another month.
Looking like Meupiyou, Andre and Johnstone in. Think we will see one more as well but no clue who. Aguerd maybe.
Outs by mid sept Podence, Santi Bueno if we sign a defender. Chiquinho and not sure what the injury does for Boubacars chances
Just to clarify matters:-
Premier League clubs must submit their 25 man squads by September 13th, that's after the 3rd round of matches and 2 weeks after the transfer window closes.
Here's a list of Countries that have their transfer deadlines past 30th August:-
Mexico: September 5
Belgium: September 6
Turkey: September 8
Russia: September 8
Australia: September 13
Greece: September 15
Qatar: September 15
Saudi Arabia: September 17
Portugal: September 22
Ukraine: September 22
UAE: October 10
That effectively leaves the options of any of our players that may be going to Greece or Saudi being able to do so.
FIFA should get its act together and standardise transfer windows. Wolves could name their 25 man squad for the season then a week or so later a player could move to a country with a later window closedown, and we wouldn’t be able to replace them
Wolves don't have to name their squad until Sept. 13th, so I would imagine all transfers would be in place by then, so at most Greece is 2 days later and Saudi is 4.
My concern is moving players before the window shuts, which is in about 24 hours.
Still no idea why you are concerned with whether we move players before the window shuts. It would certainly be nice but squad wise it makes no difference. We either name them or we don't.
Fabio, Sasa and Boubacar won't be named in our squad right now for a start.
Mentioned elsewhere but Silva to Las Palmas and Podence still v likely going to Saudi.
Hope we keep Guedes. Not bothered by Chiquinho but wouldn't mind him as a wild card option late in games.
Andre sounds like a Leminha type player from what I am learning, likes to pick the ball up deep and take it up
Fabio set to join Las Palmas in Gran Canaria in the Spanish top flight. It will be a season long loan. Wolves wanted to sell him but. I suitable bids came in
Wolves have signed keeper Sam Johnstone
So who's leaving? Sa? Bentley? Both? Neither?
Hobbs:
“I think a squad and a team is in a much better place when there's real competition for every place. If we can add such an experienced player, who is homegrown and knows the league, and it makes the whole group more competitive, then we wouldn't turn that down in any other position, so why do we turn that down with a goalkeeper?”
So that's clear then.
Sounds to me as if Sa's going to Saudi. So the "real competion" is 1 fro 2, as it was yesterday.
Certainly can’t imagine them keeping Sa and Bentley so one will go. Sa to Saudi or Bentley to Arsenal? We will know today
Latest name linked is Chelsea academy defender Olakanju. Another one for the future.
The club is still trying to sign an experienced centre back today with Chelsea’s Chalobah in the frame
In his pre forest press conference GON confirmed that Daniel Podence will be going to Saudi. The offer he’s had was too good for him and his family to turn down. That won’t necessarily be confirmed today because their transfer window closes later.
